"The Hotel is located way off the main drag in a small community which has not social amenities. The parking lot was full of large pot holes and a hazard. But the room itself was excellent. The furnishings were in good condition and the bathroom was immaculate with clean modern fixtures. An excellent place to stay if you're seeking nature away from the hustle bustle.."

"Our family gathered here for the 2024 solar eclipse and could not have asked for a better place. The property is quiet, well-maintained, clean, and beautiful. The property owner is responsive and helpful. We lucked out with great weather: sunny and clear views of Katahdin, with ice still on the lake and piles of snow from a spring snowstorm. This property would have been great with any weather. Cannot recommend highly enough"

"We came up for the eclipse extended weekend and were pleasantly pleased with how friendly and thoughtful our host was. She took the time to show us around and made sure we had everything we wanted. The house was very clean and as advertised (actually it was better than pics!). We arrived Saturday evening and the host was very attentive, friendly and welcoming. They left us 2 pair of eclipse glasses, bottle of wine and plenty of kitchen/bathroom amenities. The pellet stove was simply fantastic! Since I was not familiar with a pellet stove, she explained how to use it (very simple). I would definitely come back again! And to top it off the price was not inflated AT ALL during our stay. Sincere thanks to our hosts!"
