If a restful vacation is part of your travel plans, Silver Lake State Park might be the perfect place to seek out during your trip to Mears. While you're in the area, wander around the parks.
You can find out about the history of Mears with a stop at Little Sable Point Lighthouse. Stroll along the lakeside or experience the area's festivals.
Take the family on an outing to Craig's Cruisers Family Fun Center during your trip to Silver Lake. While you're in the area, stroll along the lakeside.
Mears is a very small Michigan attraction city. You have to be willing to pay the money to experience the lake and the dunes of you don’t have those vehicles at your disposal. Otherwise, there isn’t much to do!
Would definitely go back.
It was early in the season, so there was no restaurant open near the dunes. We did visit a very nice cafe right in Mears.
Great location if you are into off road vehicles. A bit noisy if you don’t.
