Great location! Spacious house for family!
We will definitely be renting this place again! We were able to ride our SXS right up to the dune entrance, no need to trailer it! There was plently of parking spaces for our trailer and cars! The house was clean and spacious, perfectly sized for my family and my parents. Thank you for a great place for out last weekend on the dunes!

Perfect setup for a dunes trip
Not having to trailer our machines in and out of the dunes was very nice. The garage came in real handy for some late night wrenching we had to do. House was clean and overall very nice!!

Nice Place to Stay
The property is in a great location and has plenty of room for hanging out. Everything was very nice and exactly as advertised. My only complaint would be that the floors were very dirty to the point we took it upon ourselves to clean them the first day we were there. I am sure it was a over site given that fact that everything was clean and taken care of. We will be back.

Clean house in great proximity to dunes.
The house was clean and comfortable, plenty of parking for a large trailer, and had garage access for storing toys which was great. Able to easily ride toys right into the dunes without trailering. Great location!

Pros and Cons...
This property was conveniently located around the corner from the dunes and had plenty of parking. Property Manager was easy to reach and communicated with us. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. The house was very dirty upon checking in and the mattresses are really broken down.

Dune’s Trip
This house was perfect for our riding family for the weekend. We had tons of floor space for air mattresses. We used the fire pit every night after riding out on the dunes. The only flaw was the kitchen wasn’t as stocked (pots, sauce pans, cookie sheets, can opener…) as we have had in past rentals. Overall it was an excellent rental property for a large group of people coming up to the dunes for a weekend.

This was the perfect cabin for our extended weekend getaway. It offered a great layout, with awesome backyard space. It was also nice to have more than enough room to park our 2 trucks, trailers, and our Dune toys. Was also nice to be right around the corner from the park entrance. The only issue we encountered was the lack of hot water. We were a group of 4 adults and 1 toddler. No matter whether hot water had been used or not, the hot water only seemed to last about 5 minutes before switching to lukewarm, and then cold. It did present a problem when trying to run baths for the toddler. But that is more of a heads up for larger groups, especially if you have multiple younger kids needing baths. That one issue definitely would not keep us from renting here again.

Perfect Place for ORV riders!
We had 3 different “families” stay with us. Each couple got a bed with room for their children to stay in the rooms with them as well (pack n play and toddler sized air mattress). The twin beds were perfect for my nephews:) Plenty of space inside and outside for a big group! We didn’t have as big of a group as expected but it fit 9 comfortably! The entrance to the ORV park is down the road, and the house has plenty of room for trailers and vehicles! Downtown is very close as well!

Good Location But Not Clean
The house was in a good location and you could tell some of it was recently renovated. The problem was that it still had things broken in it - one of the closets was missing a door, no shelving in the closet, drawer front underneath the kitchen sink was missing, battery was low on the nest door lock, main bathroom sink kept overfilling as it wouldn't drain. The other issues were with the cleanliness, there was blood in the master bedroom's wall, the toilets hadn't been cleaned in months, surfaces were dusty, food in the cabinets that were expired by over a year, there was an inappropriate picture talking about condoms on the bathroom wall which is inappropriate for children, there was a note that you could smoke whatever you wanted in the garage and it smelled like it, the smell leaked into the house by the garage door, the laundry was left in the dryer with a note that we could grab the items we needed to use from there. Overall it was a place for us to sleep in a good location but we would not go again because of the cleanliness issues.

Definitely will be staying again. The only thing I found strange was there were leftover groceries in the cabinets. Aside from that—they had everything we needed! Bring firewood if you want to have a fire.

Silver lake 2022!
My friends and I absolutely loved this house. There is nothing bad to say. Location, neighbors, host everything was as perfect as we could’ve asked for. Everything was within walking distance and the house itself was so clean and spacious. Night time bonfires were elite. I will definitely be coming back.

Clean house and excellent location
The house was very clean and nicely updated. They had an air compressor and extra flags to use for the dunes, that was really nice. We did have a plumbing issue but the home owner had plumbers come out promptly. Super convenient location for the dunes.

Direct Dune Access for ORV
Great experience and location. Being close enough to drive ORV’s into dunes is what drew us. Some suggestions would be the addition of barstools at the kitchen island, it’s a very open floor-plan that could use more seating so whole group can interact together rather than some at table and others on couch. Also there was a smell of what could most closely be described as sewage earlier in the day and later in evening in front yard. There were cob webs in light fixtures and dust on ceiling fan blades. Overall a great stay and will very likely book again next year. Knowing you have plans to make improvements our whole group was excited to see what you do.

1st VRBO experience. It is a relatively newer listing and worked just right for a group of 11 people including kids. Definitely rectitude for enjoying the dunes and the lake. Plenty of parking.

Last Minute Trip
To be fair to all parties I want to explain the full situation. I inquired on a Wednesday if the property would be available and ready for Thursday check-in for a last minute trip. The owner said it was available. We arrived and started placing items in the rooms and realized the home had not been cleaned at all. We took pictures and communicated with the owner about the situation. My wife and I had a terrible first night cleaning the entire house so that we felt comfortable having our kids in it while also having to purchase cleaning supplies that night. The trip started off frustrating but I want to state this is the only part that was bad. The house has a great layout and is a super convenient location. The owners stated they would reimburse the cleaning fee which they did and explained they would be adjusting cleaning schedules moving forward as well. My family and I had a great time in the end and the issue was resolved by the owners.
