“The PERFECT, easy and adorable place to stay in Bayfield especially if you want to be close to the lake ... like across the street from it (the Madeline Island ferry & Apostle Island cruises too). Easy parking. Close to downtown and lots of shops and restaurants. The motel has been refreshed very well. New paint and furnishings. My room was quiet, had a comfy bed, good WIFI, TV with LOTS of channels, a coffee maker, and a mini frig. It could have used an iron, but okay. Towels were soft &……

“The room was outstanding, clean in every way and stocked with additional pillows and blankets for the stay if needed. The view from the balcony was terrific, watched fishing boats in the morning with a cup of coffee... very peaceful and relaxing and just what you would want on a vacation. I would highly recommend a stay here.”

“I just stayed one night, but it was very nice. An old house with lots of character. My room was upstairs. So not for those with bad feet or knees. The room was very comfortable. Breakfast was nice and the hosts were pleasant.”

“As you enter the room you're greeted with pleasant, lakeside getaway decor and contemporary design elements that give way to a cozy breakfast nook and food prep area that met our needs for meals in or leftovers from meals out. It's a corner unit so there are a lot of windows for fresh air and fans to move the air in lieu of AC. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Bayfield and especially in this unit!”

“We came for the Birkie, and LOVED staying in this spacious lovely Inn. Beds were comfy, kitchenette was very functional, and nice open space (windows with lovely with view of land and full moon while we were there). Kelly and Mark were so very friendly and made our stay feel like we were "at home." Great area to walk, fresh air, cute animals (horses, donkeys, outdoor cats and a dog - all very friendly!). Lots of interesting books to peruse, and family games to play. Thank you for NOT have……

“It would have been nice to have two chairs in the room. One sitting on the floor or bed and one on the chair was cumbersome. And as we do not have cable at home, directions on how the Direct TV works would have been helpful.”

“The whole house is immaculate and our unit was the same. The only downside was that our unit at the top of the house was pretty cozy, i.e., small. The bathroom was actually pretty spacious but the bedroom was crowded for just the 2 of us. No false advertising, just small. The views in all directions were glorious. We enjoyed walking around Bayfield and getting in some great hikes along the national lakeshore.”
