"Positives: The staff were very friendly and helpful. They made sure to help accommodate our needs. It is located close to downtown Mackinaw. The view is amazing! We even saw the Northern Lights over the bridge! The rooms were clean, however, the painting of our room was kind of sloppy. Negatives: There was a slight sewage smell outside. Each night when we returned to the hotel our key cards would not work. Apparently other guests were having the same issue. "

"Had a great stay, really like this place. The only issue I had was in the morning there was no hot water for a shower. This is my second stay and will stay there again but the morning shower with no hot water was issue both times. Great place and very friendly."

"The room was perfect! Clean, fresh and reasonable price! Bed was most comfortable we have slept on in a long time! Several comfortable pillows on the bed. Microwave, refrigerator and kerig coffee was all clean and appeared new. Would definately stay here again and highly recommend."

"Wife and I on a color tour of Northern Mich and Eastern UP. This was a great base area, easy on to the bridge. Our upper lake view room was all we needed, a clean room, hot shower and comfortable bed, great views from balcony. This is a resort town so expect to spend some for meals. Hotel personnel were courteous and helpful. "
