The house includes many features only available on a purpose built vacation rental.

HEATED POOL:
Pool heating at no extra cost. We now have 2 pool heaters! Your family can enjoy an 85 degree swim, mid May through October 31st .

Swimming in 85 degree salt water on our high bluff edge, over looking lake Michigan in September, is just awesome! We can adjust the water temperature, warmer or cooler, on request at no charge.

Also featuring a heated outdoor shower

just added pool side gas fire table, just add you and your favorite beverage may- Oct. 31st

HOT TUB:
Our ultra clean hot springs hot tub goes up to 104 degrees. The hot tub features 2 built in back message seats and a top of the line filtration system. Don't forget to dip in at night for some star gazing and watching the freighters come in-and-out of Ludington port. The freighters look like Cruise ships at night.

HOT WATER HEATERS:
2 instant hot water heaters. So you can run 4 showers at the same time and never run out of hot water.

LAUNDRY:
2 laundry rooms. One main level. One pool level.

KITCHEN:
2 fully-equipped kitchens One on main level. One on pool level. That gives you a lot of refrigerator space for the important stuff.

BACK UP GENARATORS:
2 whole house generators just installed. If the power goes out they turn on automatically. No ruined vacations from power outages here.

CAR CHARGER:
EV car charger in the garage. To keep your car batteries full.

VIEWS:
Pool and lake views from 4 of the 6 bed rooms.
Large covered porch, lake side, with comfy furniture so you can enjoy the view and watch the kids jump in the pool. Or lots of open deck and pool side patio if you prefer the sun.

Blue Waters Edge sits on a high bluff giving you amazing views! Look down ( yes look down) from the deck at sea gulls and the occasional soaring bald eagle. The bald eagles nest is just 2 houses south of Blue Water Edge.

BEACH:
107' of private Lake Michigan beach frontage. Take the trek down to the beach and relax in one of the 6 chase loungers, or use the the two supplied kayaks and 2 stand up paddle boards to explore the lake shore.
1 1/2 miles of beach to walk. Be sure to take some time to search the sandy beach for Petoskey stones, we have found some!

There are about 100 steps and some trails to Blue Waters Edges private beach. Its a 10 min hike back up, alternatively the salt water pool has all warm water you will need!

If a drive up beach is more your style you have 3 to pick from :

1. Butters Ville Park ( down the street) close small beach
2. Stearns park located downtown Ludington ( 15 min away) large beach handicap accessible walk ways.
Pair this with lunch or ice cream .
3. Ludington state park beach ( its the big one 5300 acres of scenic sand dunes , beaches and the big Sable point light house)

LOCATION:
Conveniently located between Pentwater and Ludington 15 minutes from each. Enjoy the best of both.

Mason county picnic area across the street. Play the disc golf course or hike up to the top of the lookout tower .

WIFI:
We have WIFI 2 internet connections . Frontier is approx. 9Mbs. It is adequate to stream tv and movies, but not fast. Plus
ITS HERE ! We now have starlink satellite internet new 2022 60Mbs.

Blue Waters Edge, Ludington, Michigan
Blue Waters Edge is a private breathtaking property nestled on a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan. The views of Lake Michigan and the sun sets are etched in my mind forever. The house is nearly new and wonderfully accommodated my family of 22. The ownership and management are world class. Everything you could ever need has been carefully thought through and provided. The house was beautifully laid out and appointed to accommodate our multigenerational family. Our hosts were immediately responsive to any questions we had with helpful tips about the area. The photos don’t do justice to the beauty of the views from every room! The only downside is the access to the beach. It’s a physically challenging climb back up! We would definitely recommend this property. The pool and the hot tub were our family’s favorites.

A True Vacation
I could go in to detail or simply say this place is "done right". Our stay was fantastic. Our annual family vacation has landed us in Ludington four times now (out of the last six years) and this was easily without a doubt the best one yet out of anywhere we have been (all six stays have been on the lake and this easily surpassed them all). Our family consisted of eight adults, and six children (ages 2-6). The house could not have been better suited for our trip. With plenty of space both upstairs and downstairs, even on a rainy day there was space for everyone. The house was outfitted with everything we could have expected and more. From the inconspicuous baby gates already on the stairs, to the pack and plays to the kitchen with ample dishware including children settings, there was nothing we needed. I could go on and on with just the inside of the house (smart TVs, bluetooth speakers, views, two kitchens, two laundry rooms, size of bedrooms) as it was perfect. Outside was the same. The pool was clean, warm and had plenty of towels. The kids loved the diving board and fountains. The hot tub and views out at the lake at sunset was incredible (growing up in Michigan I tend to take lake sunsets for granted but when I showed photos to my coworkers in Western Illinois they could not believe). The outdoor shower to rinse off was perfect too. I do not believe we will ever find a place as nice to stay at for a family trip as we did this year. Thank you the owners of this property for thinking of everything and designing the house in a way that was perfect from a rental experience. Simply put this place is done right.

This beautiful lake house is exceptional. Always like to stay somewhere that is at least as good as where we live. I have to say you have knocked it out of the ballpark. And I didn’t mean to sound stuck up but just wanted you to know that we know that you have pulled out all the stops to make this home one of the best on VRBO. Our family takes a yearly vacation with our kids and grandkids. This is by far the best house we have picked in over 14 years. The owners are awesome. Checked on us to make sure we did not need anything. We needed nothing. It was all already there for us. The views are breathtaking and the pool is perfect. Thanks for making it all possible for us this year.

The pictures do not do justice for how beautiful and well laid out this home is! We had my husbands entire family here, 8 adults and 8 kids aged 5 and under. The layout was perfect for the 4 families and we appreciated the security steps taken regarding the pool. The hosts were great to work with, we’re very responsive to questions, and had tons of supplies on hand for kids. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this home!

Great house for a Good Time
All my extended family enjoyed this house immensely. Everyone enjoyed the heated pool, as the week was cool. This was the best kid friendly place as there were high chairs, booster seats and plenty of toys and games. The kitchen was also well stocked for making dinners for a large group. Again there were a whole set of kid friendly plates and cups. Beds were comfortable and with play spaces up and down everyone could do their own thing. The walk to the house beach is long but we found a township beach just a few miles down for an easy sandy experience. Great vacation for all!

Excellent NYE Trip
About 14 of us stayed here for NYE, and we had a wonderful trip. The house was extremely clean and spacious enough for all of us. This is one of the few properties we have stayed at that actually had more than enough towels and amenities available to accommodate a large number of guests. The hot tub was awesome! Would definitely recommend renting this property to anyone we know, and may be back in summer ourselves!

This property was absolutely stunning! Great Location. Just a short drive into either town (Pentwater or Ludington.) Shawn was superb. Very responsive. The home is brand new so there were a few minor things not completely finished thus far. however nothing that would noticeably make a difference in your experience. Stunning views of Lake Michigan. The weather was great during our stay and we were able to swim in the pool in October. Nice and heated. Cannot wait to make a return visit in the future!!

Thanks to Shawn and Naomi for having this special home for us. Luxurious, exceptionally clean, completely stocked kitchens and baths…all the amenities, well thought out for their guest’s needs. Everyone, 13 people, one them celebrating a 60th birthday had a wonderful time with the floor plan, plenty of common spaces and bedrooms, upper level deck with views of Lake Michigan, private beach, heated pool, and hot tub. Communications were excellent, none better. Already planning to return next year!

Thank you Shawn and Naomi for hosting us at your property. The house was amazing from the minute we walked in, this is what you call luxury rental. The house had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms so people didn't have to be crammed all into a couple. The heated pool was by far the best thing everyone enjoyed it along with the hot tub. The view from the house of Lake Michigan is to die for a must see for everyone. We also loved all the different toys they had on property, from the paddle boats to the pool toys. I would recommend this property to anyone. Again thank you for having us!!!!

Fabulous Stay!
We have been using VRBO properties for years. THIS property is one of our favorites! We had family aged 2-60 in the house. Each of the four nuclear families had their own space. The gathering spaces in the central and pool part of the house were perfect. The first thing we noted upon entering was the cleanliness. Everything was organized and set up as if at a fine hotel. The owners have thought of everything from plastic ware for the pool and kids, game closet, pool toys, cozy blankets and stocked mini fridge. Communication with the owner was clear and prompt. The view was amazing: Lake Michigan calm and stormy was pretty fantastic to see. And the sunsets….WOW! As most reviews state, the hike to the beach was a little difficult (mostly on the return up the “hill”), but so worthwhile. Private beach, plenty of walking, water activity. We plan to return again to this gem! Thanks, Shawn and Naomi, you know how to do it right!

Lake Michigan Gem
We enjoyed our week soaking in the splendor of Lake Michigan in this beautiful vacation home. As soon as you enter the foyer you are greeted by a soaring ceiling with beautiful beams, stunning Lake Michigan view, warm wood floors, and an open, airy, well laid out design. The unexpected sprinkling of shiplap used throughout the home made my heart smile. The covered porch quickly became our favorite spot to start and end our day. It was the perfect place for that morning coffee or end of the day sunset. The whole family enjoy the heated, salt water pool and the finished basement with Pac-Man arcade machine. The trip down to the beach was a mixture of stairs and dirt paths, which could be hard for some individuals to navigate, but our crew managed just fine. Once there, you were rewarded with your own private oasis of sandy shore line, clear blue water, paddle boards, and kayaks. Overall, our stay was magical. The owners were helpful and responsive, and the home was beautiful and clean. The memories we take from our week in this Lake Michigan gem will last a lifetime. Alicia K.

Planned week long stay at this lovely property. Owners were very quick with response to questions prior to stay. Once at the property it was just what the pictures showed. Lovely well stocked kitchen that opened to great room. Plenty of space for the cook and several others to help with meal preparation. Basement game room was a plus. This property has enough bedrooms and bathrooms for family and friends to stay comfortably. Nice private beach was accessible after walk down stairs and through a wooded path. Heated pool was a well maintained and well utilized by me and my guests. I have stayed previously in properties in Holland, Michigan that had access to a bike path that this property did not have. Regardless of that I would stay here again.
