"If you are wanting a unique place to stay this is the place. 1st the owner is super friendly and informative. Dave the day shift front desk staff such a warm and welcoming man. Building has it all cafe on lower level, art, beautiful architecture and rooms, our suite had a balcony which was perfect for coffee in the morning and small kitchenette . You’ll feel like part of the neighborhood at this hotel. 24/7 deli around corner too"

"The Allen Hotel is a fine piece of architecture. The interior is well appointed. There is no on site dining option as that closed during the lock downs and never reopened. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is a exercise room on the lower level with sufficient equipment and a dry sauna and separate steam room. I did not use the saunas so can’t comment on them although the facility was clean. Our room had a balcony over looking Allen Street, the only concern i had with it was the easy...

"Very nice hotel overall. The view from the 16th floor was spectacular. The bed was very comfortable and the room had enough space. Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. But the response time when something was ordered to the room was not prompt enough. No coffee at the hotel but there are enough coffee shops close by. The area seems a little unsafe but there are enough places to eat or grab a drink close by. I was very satisfied with this stay and would recommend it to anyone."
