Ocean-view retreat with hot tub, grill, patio, pool table, & fitness studio点评

Beautiful property in western Malibu. Well positioned for beach and dining excursions. True to images and description. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

We consistently had ants in our bed plus multiple spiders (INCLUDING A BLACK WIDOW) in our room. I now have many ant bites and did not sleep well the entire trip. We reached out to management and did not receive a response - very disappointing considering the price paid. The view when standing in the yard and hot tub are the only reasons we are giving 3 stars. We will not be staying in another place using Vacasa as the management company.

Home was well maintained and comfortable. The property was wonderful and the location was perfect. We will certainly return.

This Property needs some work, it is dated and needs to be worked on. First the lock for the door by the pool table area needs to be replaced, it doesn’t lock correctly and there are instructions on how to lock the lock which is ridiculous. Instead of instructions on how to lock the door the lock just needs to be replaced. The door by the kitchen is not any better, it is hard to open and shut and the kids could not open and close the door on their own. The trim in the house all needs to be replaced, there are dog pee stains on the carpet upstairs. The Master bathroom toilet was leaking water from the base , which I called the company and they said that will be fixed. The yard needs to be maintained, there are old spider webs everywhere, they are on the outside furniture, fallen leaves were all over the place, and the property has a bug problem. The last day we were there the Gardener was in the yard at 8am using a blower and checking the filter for the hot tub, and I was in the kitchen making breakfast and all of a sudden, I see two men in the yard. In the future the Gardener should wait until check out to come clean up. You pay so much money for something nice and you find out when you get there it is not as nice as the pictures, I feel the property owner needs to really update the house and fix things around the house. The best thing about this Property is the view, it is breathtaking! Also the house inside was very clean.
