Milagro Guest House, Seaside Bungalow with Ocean View and a Private Pool!

Location, location, location!!!, What more can we say. When visiting Loreto you really cannot get a more ideal and charming location. You will enjoy beautiful sea views from the front and the rear terraces of the bungalow. And your huge rear terrace overlooks your private pool. You are literally steps from the beach and the malecon- Loreto's seaside promenade. The bungalow is in a quiet, desirable neighborhood, enjoying a mix of cultures. As you step out of the front garden, you will be amazed at the friendliness of your neighbors.

Inside, the house has a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a dining area. It has a comfortable living room with seating for 6, large screen TV with Netflix and Prime. The bedroom is spacious and there is a modern bathroom. In the back there is a large terrace with sea views and a dining area for 6. The terrace also has room to relax and lounge, while reading a book or maybe taking a nap. The bungalow consists of the entire upper level, with a private entrance via a secluded stairway.

Loreto is a wonderful place to visit, especially if you have never visited Mexico before. The people are incredibly friendly and helpful. As you walk the malecon you will be greeted with smiles and friendly greetings by the local folks. A car is not necessary to vacation at your bungalow in Loreto as it is located in the Centro (central district), with our many amenities within an easy and short walk. This would include the beach right across the street, a few steps to the malecon and many restaurants. You are only a 10 minute walk from our lovely tree shaded plazas and our historic Mission (one of the first Pacific Coast missions). A lot of unique and interesting shops can be found in this area.

You can also easily walk to services such as banks, groceries and car rentals (should you wish to visit our outlying attractions). We can help you hire a boat for your sea adventure; fishing, snorkeling or island tours. Or guides can be hired as you stroll on the malecon near the local marina.

So while you might find yourself driving into town, once you are parked, you might find that your vehicle goes unused as you tour Loreto on foot! Or perhaps by bicycle or kayak (both available on site and provided free of charge).

We can provide concierge services to help make your trip easy and a great success. This might include airport transfers, grocery shopping, laundry services, excursion planning, romantic meal catering, let us make your dream come true!

All you need in Loreto
Outstanding location at the south end of the Malecon offers immediate access to a great stroll up the Sea of Cortez shore. The Marina, at the north end, is a mere 15 minute walk. Along the way are a variety of cafe's, restaurants and just a few hotels. Also, easy access to the central square, shops, more restaurants, grocery and a craft brewery within 5-10 minutes of the Malecon. Rooms in the home are generous size, kitchen, dining, living, bath and bedroom. A king size bed with super comfy topper! High efficiency mini-split A/C and heat in both living and bedrooms for temperature control. Kitchen is nicely complete for cooking and eating in with dishes for guests and a full service spice rack. Generous deck, with table for six and other deck furniture for lounging, overlooks the seasonal pool. The beach, for launching a couple of available kayaks which are transportable on roller wheels, is a mere 40 yards away for easy access. A couple of bikes are also available. The VRBO unit is upstairs above where the on site hosts live. Peter and Ron are outstanding hosts and take great care insuring the privacy of their guests!! They've lived in the community lots of years and are a wealth of knowledge for local recommendations.

The guest house is in a prime location for those who want to explore the lovely town of Loreto on foot as well as be near the water. Peter and Ron are incredibly gracious, welcoming, and accommodating, and we could not have asked for a better lodging experience. The guest house is spotless, beautifully decorated, and stocked with anything you might need. We are already planning our return trip!

Fabulous relaxing stay
We had a great time in Loreto. The accommodations couldn't have been any better.......gorgeous view from the large patio. We walked all around the town from the house and it was so convenient. In the heart of Loreto
We had a great time in Loreto despite some weather issues. We went with the intention of getting some scuba diving, but the weather didn’t cooperate. That being said, we did dive with the sea lions one day and it was fabulous. Our apartment was right off the Malecon and we walked all over the town. There was something happening almost every day and we met so many nice and friendly people. We had use of bikes and kayaks and we enjoyed both of those. Peter was available and so helpful during the week. I would highly recommend staying at the Milagro guest house.

Our stay at the Milagro Guest house met and then surpassed our expectations. Let's start with the location. It's a 30 second walk to the south end of the Malecon and about a 1 minute walk to the beach and the beach bar/restaurant at the Oasis Hotel. Happy hour starts at 4pm. You can walk to many excellent restaurants, that have really good food, and are laid back and not fancy. The tourist part of the town in the Centro is about a 10 minute walk. The apartment had everything we needed. A fully stocked kitchen with everything you need including every spice ever discovered on the planet. We ate out some days and others we would buy groceries and cook. It's a nice option to have.The bed was comfortable with a 3 inch soft foam topper to add comfort. Peter and Ron are the consummate hosts. As a perk ,they will shop for groceries for you before you arrive and if they don't have any previous appointments ,will gladly drive you to the airport when you are leaving. They are well organized with a PDF and written guide to the town and things to do .They are always available for questions and to assist you in any way to make your stay as good and relaxed as possible.

Just finished a 4-week stay at Milagro Guest House. Cannot say enough good about it—all aspects. Peter and Ron are great hosts, quick to respond if needed, and are knowledgeable and very helpful about how to spend your time in Loreto and surrounding Baja. The guesthouse itself is comfortable, nicely furnished, has great outside space and has an amazingly well-stocked kitchen. The location….ah, the location. Absolutely perfect. Water, birds, beach access and the Malecon are all right there. It was all wonderful; thank you both very much.

Great Location and Awesome Hosts!
We arrived in Loreto and were greeted by Peter and Ron, shown through the property and given a few tips on what to consider doing during our stay. Their suggestions were bang on as we thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant and excursion suggestions they made. The unit was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. The 3 outside deck areas gave us a great choice of sun and shade at different times of the day. Peter and Ron were very available, extremely pleasant and accommodating. We would highly recommend staying at their guest house while enjoying Loreto!

Awesome hosts!
Ron and Peter are the best. They Made special efforts to make us feel at home and their rental is top notch! The location is perfect - right on the south end of the Malecon where a great sand beach begins. It was a little cold for us to enjoy the sparkling pool and the kayaks, but we had a great time tooling around town on the bicycles. The outdoor deck area is very large and comfortable with couch, lounge chairs, propane barbecue and dining table. It was great to sit out there and look at the ocean on one end and the mountains on the other. The kitchen is well stocked and the appliances are very nice. The property is very secure - even though Loreto is very safe, it is nice to feel secure. The bed with a memory foam topper will pull you in for a deep, restful sleep.

If you have discovered this property, you are fortunate indeed. The apartment itself is roomy and has everything a person might need, and then more. There are two outdoor areas to hang out to either chase or stay out of the sun, depending upon the time of year and one’s desire. There is a sweet little pool with a wonderful fountain that creates a great sound for back deck living. Ocean view is wonderful from the back deck and all around. there are palm trees and spaciousness. The hosts were incredibly responsive to our needs and initiated emails advising on venders use, places to go and what not to miss. They made it very easy for our first time in Loreto and our desire to explore Loreto in just a week. One of our most favorite things was that we had bikes for our use and we used them every day and went all over and were able to see so much, go grocery shopping etc. Overall we had a really great time and we will return to Milago Guest House again. Thank you Peter and Ron.

Prime location with lots of space.
Great location. Feels like home. Peter and Ron are wonderful, helpful and go the extra mile (you’ll see when you stay). Having two decks to choose from was optimal for sun, wind and shade choices. Private pool and laundry are a nice touch too. Highly recommend it.

Exactly what you want in a vacation rental
We're generally cautious of places with "perfect" 5-star ratings, but in this case, 5-star is definitely well deserved. Clean: YES Comfortable bed: YES Well-stocked kitchen: very much YES, with nice cookware and sharp knives too. Location: EXCELLENT - close, but not too close; an easy walk to everything but far enough to escape and enjoy the quiet when you need it. Hosts: PERFECT - great communication before and during, checking in to make sure you are having a good stay, without encroaching on privacy. Exactly as described: well... not quite - the pictures don't do it justice, it's much nicer and more spacious in real life. We're a little apprehensive about giving such a glowing review, but the truth is we would recommend it to all of our friends and family. We just hope it won't be so busy that we will have problems booking there again. Thanks Peter and Ron.

The hosts, Ron and Peter, met us on arrival. They were available to help with everything. Including getting Covid tests before our flights and taxi rides and tours. I have only good to report. The VRBO is located close to town and the marina and a 15 minute walk to the Lorato shores RV and Villa where our relatives were renting. Perfect in Every Way
Peter and Ron have created the perfect vacation rental. The apartment was equipped with EVERYTHING, the furnishings were extremely tasteful as well as high quality, the shower was probably the best I've ever encountered in Mexico. Exceeded our Expectations
This was our first visit to Loreto and both the town and the guest house exceeded our expectations. We loved this charming town and the guest house which was well located to the beach and a beautiful estuary for bird watching, shopping and dining. The guest house was so well suited to our needs with lots of light, space and beautiful patio views of the ocean complete with gorgeous sunrises. Most of all, our visit was made special by our wonderful hosts, Peter and Ron who shared their knowledge of the area and their recommendations for food and dining. Why I Do Not Want You to Stay at Peter and Ron's AMAZING Home
What is most remarkable about Peter and Ron's place is the natural, organic hospitality offered. Before I arrived they sent a very thorough Welcome Packet that was chock full of information. A must read! From the moment I arrived they were extremely attentive to all my needs and answered the barrage of questions I had about Loreto. They were both incredibly gracious with their time and vast knowledge of the area. The home itself had everything you could possibly need. I broke my reading glasses while on a fishing trip thinking I had to replace them. But then I thought they seemed to have everything available in the home so I looked in the kitchen utility drawer and found two different kinds of super glue! Speaking of the kitchen, it has a really nice refrigerator, Stove and several several small appliances.. There are also plenty of of dishes glasses, storage containers, and utensils. There was also a well appointed bar area for mixing cocktails and serving wine. The best way I found to get around town was using one of the two beach cruiser bicycles that are included with the rental. In fact, when one of the bikes had a flat tire, Peter said he had a guy who would fix the tire and I was back on the bike 30 minutes later! Talk about service above and beyond expectations! I did not get to take advantage of the ocean kayaks but they are available as well. The spacious balcony had a really nice view of the water is the water. It also has large table table where I hosted an evening get together. You'll also want to take advantage of the hammock for a lazy afternoon siesta. The title of this review is obviously tongue in cheek. When word gets out about this amazing place, it will be hard to book. Thank you so much Peter and Ron for everything!

This bright apartment and lovely hosts made for a perfect stay in Loreto!
Peter and Ron's property is the best vacation rental we've stayed in, period. The apartment itself is bright and spacious, plus has a fabulous deck where we ate breakfasts with a view of the Sea of Cortez. The bed is extremely comfortable, and everything worked well (kitchen, wifi, shower, etc.) The pool is a little chilly in November but we used the kayaks nearly every day and particularly enjoyed heading out at sunrise - the beach is literally half a block away. We also found the cruiser bikes to be an excellent way to get around Loreto. As for the location, it couldn't have been more perfect and safe. We were within walking/biking distance from everything in town and practically on the malecon, yet just enough removed for it to be on the quieter side. And last but definitely not least, Peter and Ron are incredible hosts - extremely responsive and accommodating, they volunteered so much great information about things to do and places to go. As we learned during a fun and generous evening of drinks and dinner with them, they’re super connected to the Loreto community and just all-around terrific human beings. When we come back to Loreto, we will definitely be staying here again!

We had such an amazing time in Loreto, due in large part to our VRBO hosts Peter & Ron! They were communicative and all-around hospitable! Originally from California, they’ve lived in Loreto for the last 20 years and we think they know everyone in town. We very much appreciated their local connections and concierge service when trying to discern the best restaurants in town, hiring good tour guides, finding the closest mini-grocery store, etc. We enjoyed their company so much we all hung out together one night. Their apartment is fantastic and located just one building from where the Malecon ends and a beach begins. It’s in a really safe neighborhood, has ocean views from both the front and back decks, a king-bed, air conditioning, a well-appointed kitchen, great internet and water pressure, and a brand-new pool! Do not miss the opportunity to enjoy Loreto while staying at what must be its best VRBO in town. Location: The property is gated and the private apartment is located upstairs. Since the apartment is set back one lot from the Malecon, it’s much quieter, yet offers amazing views of the water. Kayaks and bicycles: Two beach cruiser bikes and two kayaks. Pool: Perfect for a quick dip or to cool off after a busy afternoon. Safety: Never once did we feel unsafe in Loreto! Internet: We found the wi-fi reliable so if you plan to work while you’re there, you shouldn’t have any issues. Kitchen: The apartment has a gas stove/oven, microwave, full-size refrigerator with icemaker, and dishwasher. Back deck: We spent the most time here! With both dining and lounging spaces, ocean views, ceiling fans, it’s the perfect perch from which to enjoy some serious birdwatching too. Loreto: The incredible weather, laid-back beaches, nearby islands, welcoming locals, excellent snorkeling and kayaking all truly captivated us. We loved that there were no resorts in town and no vendors hawking stuff along the beaches. Every evening watching all walks of life from every part of town cruise the Malecon was so much fun! Everything from families with children hanging out the car windows and sunroof of sensible sedans and minivans, to couples driving rustbuckets and more serious cruisers with their music blasting. This pandemic has challenged all of us, yet the people of Loreto, many of whom in the tourism industry haven’t worked for over a year, still have smiles on their faces. If you visit, we encourage you to tip well, be kind and respect the locals.

Perfect Getaway
Our accommodations were excellent. Every necessity and comfort were provided for us to have a relaxing week in Loreto. Peter and Ron greeted us upon arrival and shared relevant information on our accommodation and things to do and favorite restaurants in Loreto. Our location was right near the walkway along the Sea of Cortez. We walked it numerous times as it always intrigued us to watch the pelicans diving for fish. Dining options were abundant and delicious. We ate out for most meals but the kitchen had every item a chef would need to prepare meals. We were a little early in the season to enjoy the pool but it looked very inviting. In summary I’d say it was an A+ experience.
