Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms clean but on the small side. With the Expedia handicap filter on, their site showed this hotel, which we then booked. However arriving at hotel, we found no lifts/elevators. Very disappointed but with the Expedia filter, as the hotels separate website states there are no lifts/elevators.

Everything except the cold water shower at 6.30am after checking the workings the night before and finding out all was hot, i can only imagine that the hot water was not turned on at that time. Room 508.

The Brompton is not the Ritz. For the prices they charge, everything is excellent. Location is excellent for access to transport (tube, especially). Good cafes and restaurants right outside door. No, they don't have a lift. Partly explains price. No public rooms. Sheets are clean, fixtures work. I use it regularly.

I wasn't expecting much at the price in London, but wifi that doesn't keep dropping out, and, most importantly, hot water in the bathroom are basic requirements these days. There is far more that I could say, but suffice that I will pay more for a better standard in future. Before the owners come back and say that i didn't report any issues, I had to leave early for a hospital appointment, and nobody was about to speak to at that time of the morning

The room and accommodation was perfectly fine and comfortable, it was also nice and quiet considering how close to the main road it is. However, there was no hot water, which made showering very uncomfortable.

We arrived a few hours earlier than the usual check in time and were delighted to be offered complimentary early check in. Our room was several floors up with no lift but we were offered help with our bags. Our room was fine. Not great (iron burns in the carpet and a sticking bathroom door) and the toilet was small and cramped to the toilet roll holder. However for a couple of nights it was OK. Our trip was to go to the Natural History Museum and that was within 10 mins walk. Lots of local restaurants (we went to Carluccio's) so no problem the Brompton doesn't do food. Happy to recommend and we'd stay again.

There is bed bug in the room fir the first night we stayed. The manager changed our room the next night. Location is perfect and price is very competitive.

After paying £65 for one night, we arrived and they expected us to pay another £75 (more than the room itself cost) the person behind the reception dest was rude and unhelpful. Upon entering the room we saw what looked like blood stained carpet. The windows were moldy and the bathroom door was stiff and wouldn’t lock. Overall the room was dirty and not what we expected. The tv wouldn’t work and we were told there was nothing they could do about it because they couldn’t remove the tv from the wall to fix the wire. So we were left in a dirty room with no entertainment. I would not recommend this place to worst enemy.

The room was comfy and spacious. Hotel is very close to tube station which made commuting very easy. There were a few good dinning options nearby. Museums are all on walking distance.

Broken shower faucet. Had a hard time trying to get the temperature right. Broken heater. No elevator.
