You get what you pay for in terms of rooms, but location is incredible if travelling anywhere by Tube or train.
My room was always kept very clean, the management team were very helpful and considerate. It was a pleasant experience.

Poor....
My 2 night business trip coincided with the Queen laying in state so London was busy. I get supply and demand, but was disappointed with the profiteering by hotels in London. I couldn't get any of my usual hotels so ended up here.
Positive points: staff at reception 24 hours; room was clean; I was able to leave luggage; shower cubicle was nicely tiled, automatic sensor lights in toilet and shower.
I knew it wasn't going to be a great stay as I walked along narrow dark corridors and stairways to my room. A bare wooden door opened to a "hall" with the toilet and sink to one side and the shower to the other. The room had a tiny double bed and a single. Curtains were hanging off, a tiny tv hung crookedly in the top corner of a wall (no idea if it worked, I didn't try). No attempt at decor whatsoever. The room was clean enough and the bed was ok. No toiletries in the bathroom apart from some small soap bars that had previously been used. Toilet paper was very flimsy.
I don't mind basic rooms, I would not expect to pay £350 for 2 nights however.
If I was paying more than £40 a night here it would be too much. (Admittedly my room could accommodate more than just me - so maybe £70).

Shame about the pillow
Nice and close to Euston and Kings Cross which was great. Comfy bed but the pillow was awful and flat.

Had a pleasant stay but hotel needs an uplift...it's a diamond in the rough...great location and has potential to become a boutique hotel

Maggie, the front desk receptionist/manager was a true professional who understood my minor dilemma when my two credit card companies shut down both cards after I used them in a prior country. The problem was eventually sorted. Victor, the midday front desk manager, always greeted me with a friendly smile. The overall staff is nice, friendly, and professional.
Horrible. Honestly it was filthy in the hallways and in the room, which had ants and was so cramped we could hardly move. No air conditioning, just a tiny fan. Didn't supply face clothes or a shower mat and the roll of toilet paper was half used. There was no fitted sheet on the bed so in the morning the yellow stained matress was exposed. The comforter looked and felt extremely old and worn and had stains. In the morning we (two females) were woken up by a male staff member working directly outside of our window able to see in at us. When we left the room we were hit by a wall of cool fresh air which made us realize just how hot and stuffy the room we had stayed in was. It was expensive too. Will never go again, absolutely do not recommend.

Very compact, reliable wifi
The room was v small but clean and tidy. The shower and toilet rooms are okay but the toilet is too close to the wall. The Wi-Fi worked well and I was able to stream tv and make video calls easily.
Convenient location.
The room was not ready and there was a staff member asleep in the room when we enetered 2 hours after the agreed checkin.

Hotel way okay, about right for the price. Location was good, small tv and a fan with amenities. No fridge or microwave. Good location. However bathrooms were gross, I ordered a double room and the bathroom tile didn’t separate from the shower so when I took a shower the entire bathroom floor got wet.
We had a 3 person room and it was so small there was no spaces for suitcases or to walk in the room.
The shower and bathroom was separate, and that was okay, but no where to hang clothes or a towel.
Therefore one had to throw towel out by corridor and then open door soaking wet to retrieve it!!
It was so hot in the room and there was no air conditioning, but we received a tiny fan to use… so funny!
Luckily it was one night and it was very close to Kings Cross under ground.
