“The property was clean and met my expectations. There were fresh eggs in the fridge and milk for the cereal, that was nice. The location is great—very walkable to shops and restaurants. I would rent again!”

“The Big House was a great place to stay for our family reunion. There was plenty of space for playing games and sitting around talking. Comfortable furniture. Close to the water. The host responded to my questions in a timely manner and adjusting the heating as needed.”

“The location was perfect: just off the road leading to the ski area, and close to the supermarket and the gas station. Garage is a big plus in the winter. The place had everything we needed for a family stay, plenty of space, laundry machines - overall, it made our vacation run very comfortably and smoothly.”

“This property is all that it says. Very spacious. Lots of fun games. Maybe could use a few more children’s games. Plenty of games for adults. Common areas were especially nice. Lots of seating. The tubs are a dream. But not enough hot water for the size of the space. Pillows were very flat and kind of useless. Very dusty. Mattresses in basement were very uncomfortable. We found a dead mouse, recently caught in a trap, under a bed downstairs. Dishwasher doesn’t get dishes very clean. Lots of……

“Great location. Great price for a family of 5. Would have enjoyed a larger TV and better seating for us to enjoy at the end of the day of skiing. Some of the kitchen areas and bathroom floors were not very clean, but overall it was mostly clean and we really enjoyed ourselves. Quick responses from Manager. We would stay again.”

The view of the lake was great. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. We would stay again without hesitation. “We had such a lovely stay. The kitchen was well stocked. There was plenty of dish soap and dishwashing detergent as well as laundry soap. There was an abundant amount of towels. Everything felt clean. The pool table and other game tables were a hit. We were grateful for the comfort and the community the home provided.”

“Love this lodge the kitchen has everything you need and more. everyone is always entertained with the gym and pool. we stay there for a youth retreat and we go to beaver mountain for a ski day but it is great to come back to a very comfortable place!”

Kids enjoyed the bouncing house in garage, xbox games, marble wall, theater, pool table, fooshball while the adults enjoyed the large kitchen up stairs. Everybody also liked the hot tube. Also what a great view. The deer came and visited us on the last day.”

“Clean rooms and quiet. Breakfast was not to hot. Sausage and eggs were cold, milk was sour. Pool was nice. Shower was small. ”
