"We had a fantastic stay at the Martinhal in Chiado. We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment for 4 nights and the accommodation was excellent - very clean, spacious, quiet and great that the bunk beds were in the living space as opposed to the main bedroom. The breakfast was good - not as comprehensive as other hotels I've been too - but enough choice to ensure that everyone was well fed before heading out for a day tackling Lisbon's hills. "What a great experience it was staying 5 nights at this wonderful aparthotel. My friend of over 50 years and I traveled to Lisbon for 5 nights and chose this property. Perfect service, comfortable beds, and delicious semi- prepared breakfasts. All of the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Highly recommend! * My only suggestion is to put shelving in the bathroom to hold toiletries. We ended up dragging an end table in there to accommodate this. "
