The breakfast was one of the worst. I understand it's complimentary but might as well not offer it all if it's going to be like that. Worst part was there was no coffee cups available. Facility was fine other than that.

At arrival the check-in was a mess and I could not get my stay points. I stayed 3 nights, my daughter had a separate room..very similar. No iron, no points, minimal dishes. My rant: Go into the room, there were paw prints on the pull out sofa sheets, eww. The dishwasher was full of prev tenants dishes..because machine didn't work. Hotel sent a maint guy who worked on it, made it hum. Before bro made it to the elevator, machine clunked and didn't work. Re-told them, but it's weekend.. nothing done. I paid for the "suite", so I could cook and not eat out.. too bad for that plan. No dishes available, there was a single spoon in the drawer (I'm not washin someone else dirty dishes, again ewww) Breakfast? (Continental? Where?) What a joke. Empty @1.5hrs to go/be open. Asked for refill, got attitude (from server, not desk staff). No tea bags, no creamer, yogurt, eggs and meat all empty. Waffle maker... only one for how many guests? Bro made 4 for his kids/2 self...others waiting too long wait!!! Milk spilled across counter, cereal about empty..c'mon DO BETTER! Up on floor, garbage cans overflowed 3ft beyond the pretty large can, stinky, unkempt. Final straw? The ONE elevator for the whole property, yeah the inspection/certificate posted inside is E.X.P.I.R.E.D. Have stayed many places. Seems like I have no recourse, if on-site staff won't/can't do whats needed!! Not worth my hard-earned dollars. Won't be back. Will tell others to caution.

This hotel has great potential. They had a nice pool and the rooms were huge with 2 beds, a couch and a kitchenette with all the basics needed. Unfortunately our room was only partially clean (toilet was dirty, floors hadn’t been vacuumed, dirty dishes still in the dishwasher and no replacement sheets for pullout couch) . We did complain and the lady at the desk offered to have it better cleaned for us but that should have already been done. She stated they had new cleaning staff that were just learning but then someone should be inspecting the rooms prior to having someone stay in them. Breakfast in the morning was good, but they didn’t offer as much choice as other hotels.

Was impressed how clean it was. The only downside is the room was not prepared for guests so we had to request for personal items. Other then that, it I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

All of the employees that I meet were very friendly and helpful, but for a newer hotel it was nasty in the room. Had to go down to the front desk to get something to clean with because the tables were dirty, chairs were nasty, bathroom sliding doors were dirty and the breakfast was cold and not done! I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay at this facility and I probably won’t be back.

I checked into a suite at Mainstay tonight at 10PM that is costing me over $200 Canadian for the night (Mainstay charges $114USD so the Expedia markup is large) and it is in a disgusting state. How is the room not clean and ready by 10PM?!? My family is exhausted from travelling all day and would like to access the room that we're paying for, but have to sit and wait in the lobby until 11PM for it to be cleaned. This is NOT good value for what we are paying.

The check-in lady was amazing, as was any staff interaction. No coffee working for patrons at breakfast. What? You have to make it in your room. Order a box or two of coffee from Dunkin donuts or something. We paid a lot of money to stay there. Under the sink in the kitchenette area were 2 large garage bags full, that were there when we got there. How crazy. The people were very sweet, all the ladies that work there.

There was blood on the comforter. I didn't see it until I pulled it up around my face. The bathroom door didn't close. It was a pocket door with handles broken off. Must of weighed 75lbs to close Dirty towels left in bathroom.

Pros: -Large rooms for 6 people which was great for our big group -Only 30 mins from the ark encounter - staff was kind and gave us extra blankets when we asked - breakfast was good and had lots of choices Cons: - staff seemed short staffed and overwhelmed. Seemed one person was running two hotels by themselves -rooms were not that clean. - pool was a little small and the room was echoey. Wish there was a hot tub - the hotel itself was freezing. It was hot outside but it was like a fridge in the lobby Overall it worked great for our stay because we had 12 people going to ark and could fit into two rooms plus for breakfast each morning. Mainly wish the rooms were a little cleaner when we arrived.
