The property is older, but still good. It isn’t a huge destination area, except for what looked like extreme kayaking. Which is great because they go to bed early, so it’s very quiet and peaceful. The in house restaurant was meh and pillows a bit tough, but for the price I was really pleased with the place.

The property was a bit dated, but was comfortable. Very close to Hoover Dam. The lobby had a strong cigarette smell from the Casino area.

We were welcomed at 2AM by a pleasant agent to check us in. Welcomed by a clean an comfy room. Welcomed at an open bar T 2:15 AM. Had a drink, played a few games, and went on to bed. Same reception in the morning. We were sad to leave, and looking forward to returning.

Hidden gem. We attended a music festival in Las Vegas and needed a nice, quiet place to recover. This establishment did not disappoint and must give kudos to Barbara for excellent customer service. We will definitely book again.

The hotel was in close proximity to the Hoover Dam which is what we were looking for and overall it was a nice place to stay. We did however find one cockroach in our room…gross.

It has seen better days. Not enough people to staff the cafe. Dated furnishings. The lobby reeked of smoke. Ice machines were not working. The front desk gave out bags of ice on request but there was no container in the room to put the ice in once you got it. Housekeeping did not come to refresh the room so I kept the tip I left for them since I made the bed myself. The front desk personnel were friendly and helpful.

The hotel is older but maintained properly. There's not enough plugs in the rooms for phones and what not. It was very convenient to trails and the Hoover Dam

We enjoyed our time there because of our sightseeing and the staff members were delightful to work with. However, we did not like the smokiness of the lobby area that we had to go through everytime we went in or out of the hotel even though it was a gorgeous area. Our room was very large, but inadequately furnished, having no dresser for our clothes and very little surface area to utilize.

I stayed at this property with my family for 11 days. We used it as a base camp to explore the area.the back drop of this hotel is beautiful over looking lake mead.all staff I spoke with were pleasant. There’s no coffee maker in room but coffee is available for free 24hrs.the hotel lobby and casinos are typical of Vegas , a little smoky and dark , big horn cafe was excellent and very cost effective! Our room was clean when we arrived but a little dated and the only down side is they we’re supposed to clean room every third day but they just changed towels and garbage.over all I’m happy with this hotel ,location, price , and staff made it pleasant

Pool was closed and they ran out of bottled water and a few other things. The casino took my wife’s money. Otherwise we loved it and the staff was friendly and very helpful. We would stay there again.

Great trail right by the parking lot takes you to the hoover dam. Staff super friendly. Place can use a bit of an upgrade as hallway gave me vibes from the Shining. Casino is pretty no frills(which I dig). Damn good burger at the bighorn cafe

Barbara greeted us at the front desk & she was AMAZING!! She promptly checked us in, asked if we had eaten since it was less than 20 min until the cafe closed. We hadn’t eaten so she walked us over there and told the hostess that we haven’t eaten. I forgot to get the hostess’s name, but she was also amazing and said it was no problem. We took our food to go so we didn’t keep them waiting longer, but they even said we could sit down and eat if we wanted. The food was ready pretty quick and it was delicious. Amazing service here!!

Older but clean. Food was good and well priced. Smoking on the first floor but it wasn’t present in the restaurant as we sat in the back. Couldn’t get a coffee until 8 am. Pool and spa closed. Good value Next to Hoover dam which was great tour and no resort fee!!!!

Liked Location and Beauty. The Dam Wow. Travel Services and Fuel Avail. Dog Area Great with long safe walk available. Problems? It was hot and the pool was locked. Not Good. Hotel Restaurant CLOSED for Breakfast. We, like most people, wanted and needed to leave before the place opened so NO Breakfast. This needs to change.

Thank you for your feedback. Unforeseen issues with the pool and hot tub caused it to be closed, needing resurfacing. I will get word to the café about their breakfast hours, they open at 8am daily. The General Sore does offer some breakfast items, and is open 24/7.We will use this information to help improve our guest experience.
