For 30 years I have stayed at this hotel at least 10 - 20 days each year. It looks nice and is clean. It is a convention center hotel but just a few minutes from the Strip. Behind the scenes it is showing some of its age. The hot water can take 20 minutes in some rooms. The AC works but can be noisy. The same is true for the refrigerators. One other thing is food availability hours.

They gave us the wrong rooms when we got there (we paid for rooms with king size beds and they gave us a handicap room and a room with two beds), we had to complain in order to get the right rooms, and they told us the were fully booked and that we had to come back in the morning for our right rooms, then they also told us we couldn’t get a refund for the night we missed due to a cancelled flight, then top it off we found a bed bug in one of our rooms. And we were told we had to wait 3-5 days for the investigation to be done and in order for us to be compensated, We requested a late check out three days prior to leaving, our keys deactivated the day of check out and we were stuck out of our room, the manager took 15 minutes to come out and we were leaving to our flight back home soon, she told us we would have to wait for risk management in order to file a complaint and they still gave us desactive keys so we had to come back downstairs again! It was a bit much and we won’t be staying here again.

Excellent hotel in the heart of Las Vegas. You can see the sphere from the room. The staff is excellent and very professional. The only thing is there no restaurants open late at night.
