“Reserved this property strictly for the gluten free dining options. The rest was a wonderful surprise! The hiking and waterfalls were amazing. The hot springs and mud bath were a relaxing treat. We paid extra for the zip line and river tubing which was the highlight of our trip. Staff were wonderful. Would definitely recommend! Just wish there were some nighttime activities or entertainment. ”

“We had a 1 night stay in Liberia before heading to the coast. Primavera was ideal for what we needed but this is by no means a fancy hotel. Friendly staff and well located this place is. If you struggle with heat be sure to book a room with air con. Would stay again if ever in town. ”

“The Lodge was spectacular and the staff friendly, professional, and helpful. Within hours of arrival, they knew our names. The room was large, private, clean and very comfortable with a large deck overlooking the rainforest, a huge bathroom and our own private hot tub. We did many activities through the lodge (hiking, yoga, night walk, bird watching tour) and the guides were excellent. The food was delicious and very fresh. Each dish was beautifully plated and generous. 5 stars!”

“The property was a very typical Costa Rican Lodge. Beautiful location along a very nice river, off the beaten track away from loud city noise. The convenience of offering rafting, tubing, zip lining rappelling, spa service etc all in one place is very nice. It is reasonably priced for activities and the restaurant is very good. A nice buffet breakfast is included. Nice swim up bar and pool are. Service was prompt. As I stated earlier, the lodge was typical and can use a little updating. It had……

“If you are looking to decompress, enjoy the natural beauty of a massive estate, and breath clean air - this place is the best!!! Jorge, the owner is a veteran of the tourism industry and is extremely knowledgeable about geography, history, pretty much everything Tico. The property has a few pools, a hiking trail, a water slide, horseback riding, zip lining, a jacuzzi, and more. Bring a yoga mat and a bathing suit.”

“This place is a hidden gem! The rustic cabins are well maintained and clean. A short walk from the cabin and you arrive at the restaurant where the food is amazing and reasonably priced. The hosts were so nice and helpful, making suggestions for our hikes and other options for dinner (although we ate on site 4 times it was so good). Our kids miss Lucky and Domino and wanted to take the puppies home :-) I would definitely recommend!”

“Very helpful owner / manager and helped with transportation and dining recommendations. Right off the main road so a bit noisy from traffic, but also felt safe out of town. Bit of a drive to get downtown, but easy with Uber and inexpensive. Room was minimal but clean and had air conditioning.”
