"The cabin was lovely and had everything you could need. The hosts were very accommodating and gracious. I was surprised that Lake Arrowhead is so crowded with houses. They are on small lots and seemed on top of each other. So it wasn’t the wilderness experience I was expecting. Also not very tourist friendly as only homeowners are allowed to use the lake."

The only caveat we would add is that the house is close to the main road and as such can be noisy. In addition the upstairs bedrooms are "open space" design which is nice but if you are there in winter and running the heater downstairs, the upstairs gets very warm.
