Staff is great, but it seemed like they had not have enough resources. The bar ran out of glasses often so does towels for the pool. Hammocks were in worse condition. Food is boring and repetitive. We had to wait over an hour for check in as the room wasn't ready. Finally we got the room and when we entered the room, it was horribly hot that you can't even stay in for a minute. We were told to allow an hour to cold the room. We went out for the activity, returned after 5 hours only to found out the room was the same! Called reception, they sent the maintenance, they said that they have temporarily fixed it but recommend us to ask for the room change in the morning. We had sleepless night and the aircon couldn't cool down the room. In the morning we asked for the room change, they first told us to pack bags and wait for the update. After few hours they said they will fix the aircon so we don't need to move. After few hours they said they are allocating us the new room and finally we moved to the new room after almost waiting for the whole day doing nothing. On chatting with housekeeping and maintenance staff, we found that everyone was aware of the aircon, but still we were allocated that room. Disappointed!

That was one of our the most disappointing vacations (and we travel a lot). First of all, the hotel presents itself as a very family and kids-friendly place. However, even with all-included package, kids are only allowed to have dinner in a separate room from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. Parents must not eat the food, only watch kids eat. And after that, the family goes to a different place and it's parents' turn to eat, and kids just watch. If kids eat something from the buffet they will be charged. That‘s the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen in my life. Secondly, even with all included you do not actually have all included. You have to always worry when you order something and ask if you will be charged for that or not. We only ordered what was included, however during the check-out we were charged for the food and drinks and we had to argue and prove that what we ordered was included in our package! Super stressful. The staff is not synced, so one person tells you one piece of information and price for some service, then you ask another person and get an absolutely different answer. They say they have an archery club, however they only have the bows, but no arrows, so you can not actually use it. Bar workers do not know how to make even the simplest cocktails and don't even know the names of the cocktails (like Cuba Libre) and pour coke first and then rum. The few positives are kids club and the friendliness of the staff. But would not recommend anyway, will not come back.

The holistic experience was great! Dinner at the Talei Restaurant was a delight- each bite heave, recommend the lamb shank. Some pointers, as it was raining heavily during our stay for the resort to have some umbrellas for the guests and to check the guests on time as well, we had to wait an hour until our room was ready! Apart from that, great! Do go- good deal for the price!

Liked the various activities offered daily. Liked the all in deal providing all meals and good selection of free alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Room was a little bit tired and dated however quite adequate. Played golf and the course badly needed mowing. The fairways were like long rough and most of the greens were like a first cut of rough - very ordinary indeed.

I have travelled to Fiji many times and stayed at numerous resorts, and I must admit, I had an idea in my head of what to expect from The Naviti, but my friends were going for a birthday, and I said I would go. Well, it exceeded my expectations! For the amount of money we paid and the all-inclusive option, you really must consider The Naviti for your next Fijian holiday. It was exactly what I needed. Relaxing, quiet, fun and so welcoming. I will be back!

The staff were excellent friendly , polite and friendly. Our a/c sprayed water and made the room wet so we had to switch off . Bathroom was a little outdated. The swimming pool needs some maintence. The hotel needs to rethink about supplying water to the room as it is an all inclusive hotel. I felt this very strange.Overall a 4 star hotel not 5.

This property is a good 4-star property, around 45 years old but in good shape. The all-inclusive is ok, but unfortunately the hotels management has view that kids are not to be treated well. They insist on making life tough for parents with kids needing to eat in separate areas. Nothing like trying to explain to a 3 year old why he needs to eat "kid" chicken and not "dad" chicken (basically same). Or need to take cake at same time as dinner other wise the staff will take it away as kids supposed to eat super early. Ice cream denied to 3-year-old if asked for 15 minutes late - on holidays who wants to dine to a timetable. Basically they are trying to nickle and dime parents. - but the effect is to just make it not worth it for parents. We were really disappointed, and this review of average is based on our like of the pool, and our view the food and treatment of kids is horrible. We just wanted easy dinning, and the hotel was just looking to cause trouble for us by setting off our 3 year old. FIJI time is ok for staff but for clients and kids is strict. Same policy on towels - 60-dollar fee per towel if late in returning.

The dining team did an excellent job accommodating dietary needs. I was concerned with the all-inclusive but the chef handled things amazingly. Regarding the F&B included in the all-inclusive, future guests should know the only alcohol included in the package is the local Fijian ones. The coordinated daily activities aren’t really that coordinated.

The Naviti is a great family, resort. The staff working there make you feel incredibly welcome and cared for. Special mentions to Mirry in the bar and Marley in activities. Also the chef making morning omelets. The Talei restaurant needs a big improvement on the food, it was inedible and disappointing. The buffet could also be improved on. The best night for the buffet food was traditional Fijian and the lovo as delicious. Very disappointed with activity ladies who said they called us to tell us our guided snorkeling changed from 230pm to 0730am. This did not happen and they were very unapologetic, it meant we missed out on seeing coral our entire trip due to rain on the other days. The activities guy with tattoos on his shoulder also played music at the pool so incredibly loud it could be heard in your room with the doors closed, he was rude when asked to lower please. Also need more pool bar staff as service was very very slow. On check out when the bill was printed there was a donation charge we did not recognise and on enquiring got told this was for kids hospital. This left a very sour taste as at no time where we asked or told. This charge was just put on our credit card. Also pay for all inclusive but lots of hidden charges, including water which is ridiculous!!!!! Overall the staff make this resort, management could improve on allot.

Having visited Fiji before and stayed in Denerau, this time we opted for the coral coast. The all inclusive package is a little confusing and not really explained the best in terms of dining options. Children usually eat free, but we incurred additional costs for meals we thought should be or were included. Service, particularly for drinks can be quite slow, but perhaps that’s just ‘Fiji’ time. Certainly if you are paying for drinks, rather than all inclusive, service seems faster. Our children had a great time, there were lots of activities on offer and loads of kids to meet. The buffet options were limited and quite repetitive for breakfast The resort is a little tired and perhaps under staffed, but nothing of significance to affect your comfort or enjoyment. The staff are really friendly, particularly the pool bar and they guys running activities. Would recommend, but not if you are too fussy!

Returned to Naviti as had a wonderful stay previously, I wish I hadn't. The experience was different and not in a good way. Some staff were great, others could not be bothered and multiple requests for towels fell on deaf ears etc, thankfully we had the pool towels to use. This is just one example. The final straw was being charged $155 for a laundry service for a duvet as my 5 year old who has eczema left 'stains' on it. Never had this happen before at any other hotel. Good luck Naviti - hope you get back the authentic Fiji hospitality there once was before.

We loved our stay. Our room was no where near as large or as nice as our previous stays at other resorts in Fiji however this negative was outweighed by some positives. We loved the activities there as usual, loads of fun for kids. Food is a little above average but for the all inclusive package it was great not to have to worry about the cost of our meals and with three growing boys they loved the food on offer. The water activities were great but the water itself isn't the nicest at this resort, however a short walk away there is crystal clear water which was great for snorkelling. Overall the staff were great and we loved our stay.
