"Unfortunately the hot water was out and I had to take a cold shower. Apparently I wasn't the only guest who had this problem. Since it was Memorial Day weekend, it was difficult to get a plumber to come out and fix it ASAP. The room didn't have central air, but the window unit and ceiling fan did an adequate job keeping the room cool. Overall the service was good. I liked the rustic look of the knotty pine walls and the wooded area the lodge is in. "

"My gf and I love it her but unfortunately the tv in the room wasn’t really working well at all. Kept freezing. Also had burn damage which didn’t seem right to me seeming as in it’s such a beautiful hotel. It probably would only cost $200 or less to replace the tv. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay as usual/ and will definitely come back as usual!"

"The housekeeping was not really available. We missed her when she came at 4:00 in the afternoon. We were on the third floor so it was a hike to the room, no elevator. "The ladies that are here now are so kind & pleasant. I almost didn’t come back because the guy that was here the past 2 years wasn’t exactly cut out for customer service. "Service is top notch. Owners and staff are very friendly and aim to please. It snowed one night when we were there. Upon waking in the morning, the parking lot was plowed of course, but they even shoveled between each car! Breakfasts are wonderful. Rooms very comfortable.
