"Loved our stay here with a family of 9 people in August, very satisfied, and the only suggestions I would have for the owner and any potential renters is just that the house is pretty rundown. Madison the property manager did an amazing job. There's nice towels readily available, good soaps and such in the showers, coffee/tea., an excellent house manual, etc. We had one issue and Madison was quick to respond and take care of things and was really perfect. The house is as appears in photos but in general the condition of the house is pretty poor and so anyone renting should be aware what they're getting. Like the light switches and vent in the upstairs bath don't work,all the windows have to be propped with boards (it's a house from the 1850s so that is reasonable). all of the bedroom and bathroom doors squeak and don't really close or have to be shut using a shoulder, and then a hard tug to open. My daughter got locked in the upstairs bathroom because the doorknob wasn't fully on. The toilets are those really low miniature ones that don't accommodate an adult body very well. There are one or maybe two electrical outlets in most rooms and so there are hidden extension cords run under carpets everywhere to try and help. Oh and the long stairway down to the lake needs to be rebuit-it tilts heavily to one side which is ok, we used it everyday, but it clearly has shifted. Our family had a terrific stay but wanted to share in case anyone expects modern polish. Thx again!"

"We loved our week here with our family of 6. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. Beach/dock/fire pit was the favorite spot, but the jacuzzi and sauna got plenty of use too. Kitchen was well-staoked and owners were nice and responsive. The fridge in the beach house was a great plus for drinks and snacks without going back up to the main house."

"All six of us former college roommates were very pleased with this property. Loved the setup of the place. Very spacious with places we could all gather at once. Convenient to Penn Yan and many wonderful wineries. Definitely would return here."

"Property needs better cleaning and upkeep. Kitchen (stove) too small to accommodate large crowds and the 3 burner grill was also too small. Wifi was inadequate - especially in the bedrooms (and cellular was one or two bars tops). No dock for swimming or fishing (unless you break the rules)."

"Great rental for family vacation. Plenty of room, beautifully furnished and equipped, covered patio with kitchenette, dock and boats - everything u need to relax. Air conditioned as well. Marina next door had the boat we needed for cruising and tubing. Great spot overall - We’d certainly rent it again. Bring your own bed linens."

"We stayed for a week in this absolutely adorable cottage with incredible views of Keuka Lake. The owners have carefully curated the cottage with thoughtful details and cozy surroundings for a comfortable & happy stay. We were so content we hardly left the cottage but to wander down to the gorgeous clear lake & paddle around on the kayak or canoe provided. We were able to bring our dogs & they might have had the best time of everyone. We absolutely were amazed by this cottage!"
