“The decks and lanai should be hosed down. Base boards and windows cleaned. Better cooking pans. I wasted some food because of one of the pans. Phone number left for manager not avail. The closet downstairs that is locked. Not for guests. The light was on the whole time. I tried emailing because I could not get the manager’s number. No response. I put a pillow over the door at the bottom so I could sleep. The stay was awesome great location. Comfortable. I’m not sure if I ever received the local……

“Loved this home! This was a perfect secluded getaway for my husband and I. The ocean view, the close proximity to hikes, waterfalls, beaches and more and the wonderful property manager made this one of our all time favorites! The only recommendation I have is to get a four wheel drive vehicle if possible. It can rain a lot and the steep, gravel driveway can be a bit tricky to maneuver. Other than that, we would definitely recommend this locatuon.”

“Amazing property!!! Hosts are super welcoming and our 2 kids very much enjoyed the chickens. The location in Upcountry is relaxing and the views are stunning. Easy access to all Maui had to offer. Property came with everything listed along with fresh eggs, juice, milk, and a fresh loaf of bread. We'll be returning to Maui and most likely staying here again. Cannot say how much we enjoyed our stay. It was like our home away from home.”

“My wife and I, 3 of my siblings and their spouses, stayed 10 days in April. Age range is 59-73. We love traveling together, especially evenings where one couple cooks a meal for all, and afterwards we play cards, Mexican Train, and enjoy wide ranging conversations. This house was nearly perfect for that. Positives: our host, Diane, was wonderful and very responsive when a couple of minor issues came up. She had great tips on when/where to go on the island. “This is a beautiful property centrally located for all of the many activities we had scheduled for our visit to Maui. The home was clean, very private, and just as advertised. The owners have tried to make everything you could possibly need available, including beach chairs, snorkel gear, boogie boards, ice coolers, beach towels, etc. It is a great property and one I will use again if traveling to Maui.”
