As a single woman staying there it did not feel safe. I almost cried when I pulled up to the place as it was too late for me to leave and find anywhere else to go. When arriving in the evenings there were lots of very drunk people mingling about out front (there is a sketchy bar/club) underneath the hotel. Not once was there any parking available in their parking lot. I ended up having to park on the street. Two cars near me had their windows smashed out. The room was incredibly small, very worn and dark. There was no overhead lighting, just the lamps on the bedside table. I was not able to keep the blinds open because the windows looked directly into other rooms and the window in the bathroom wasn’t frosted. The bed was beeper uncomfortable and the linens were worn and dirty looking. The pillows were lumpy and flat and there was no duvet cover on the blanket. I heard loud banging and drunk guests up and down the hall all night. The music front the club was also so loud and vibrating the walls. Probably the worst hotel experience I have ever had.

Beds were horrible. Super thin walls. Heard every foot steps and door closing all night. It is an old building. Pool is not in the building. You have to walk to the YMCA.

This is an old hotel that was clearly updated sometime ago. The beds were clean, the free breakfast was tasty though options were fairly limited, and that staff were attentive. The highlight is the elevator that is original to 1928. It is big enough for maybe 3 people without luggage.
