"We had a good experience in the little blue house! Everything was clean and Amal was fantastic to deal with. Although we didn't indulge on the fresh eggs, they provided fresh eggs from their chicken for us, which was the cutest touch. The only thing that is not clear on the listing that had us confused is that the little blue house is located behind the main blue house. A great stay over all!"

"A wonderful retreat nestled in forested neighbourhood with walking trails. Had to drive to amenities, but not far to Sidney or airport. Hosts were super, suite was well stocked with everything you needed. Special treat were the presence of two wonderful Golden Retrievers, two miniature ponies, and Topaz, the friendly horse. Had a great time (2 nights) and would absolutely stay again."

"The sea view was our main attraction to this property and we were not disappointed. The Salish Sea is a few metres from the house and there are several beach access points within a 10 minute drive of the home. Dennis and Joan have a lovely propety and abeautiful garden. The suite is well stocked with kitchen utensils and a hot plate. There is also a bbq for guest use. The suite is quite comfortable, clean and bright. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. "This is one of the best VRBO studio units that we have stayed in. The unit was tastefully decorated, extremely clean, spacious and the bed was really comfortable! All of the extra touches and additions made it even better! It’s a short walk (or drive) to Bear Mountain golf course and Jack’s Place restaurant. We would definitely stay again if our travels bring us back to this area."

It is not far from Sydney and the sea side, pretty convinient for grocery. My family and friends enjoyed the stay here. "

"While we had a good night at this property, and the kitchen and common area were great, the place was not particularly clean, there was only one bathroom for 12 beds and the room and bathroom door locks were not functional. We did not know which room was ours and had to figure that out by finding someone who could tell us. It seemed that not all of the work was finished to get this property ready to use. That said, it was peaceful, quiet and calm. "

"We had appointments in the area. Once those were done, we visited Esquimalt Lagoon for the first time. We spent hours walking the full length (and back) beachside and lagoon side. Lots of interesting sculptures & plants with stunning scenery all around. It was marvelous and so close by. There was a lot more to see, but we had to head home. Til next time."
