A casa fica em Santa Marta, muito próxima da praia de Varadero, para onde é possível ir caminhando. Fiquei apenas um dia porque precisava voltar para Havana, mas se eu tivesse mais tempo, ficaria mais.”

She is a great host, the room and common spaces were very clean. The location is great for shopping, groceries, restaurants, and across the street from beach access. It's at the end of the street, so very quiet as well. I would recommend to anyone. ”

“No Wi-Fi, contrary to the advertisement in hotels.com. There is a Wi-Fi connection, but you need an internet card to gain access. And even the Wi-Fi connection, you have to ask for it. It was not pro offered. The pillows were extremely thin and uncomfortable. The second bad, the equivalent of a cot, had a sagging mattress. It provided a terrible sleep. “We had a pleasant stay and very much enjoyed speaking with our hosts. The property is well situated an easy 5 minute walk from the beach, large craft market and the “Main” Street - from where one can access various sorts of transportation and restaurants . An economical and friendly accommodation.”

It was such a pleasure staying at this location A few things to keep in mind: - There's no wifi at the residence but you can purchase a cheap wifi card from a store close to the park in Santa Marta. You'll have to ask around to find out where to purchase it and where your devices will get reception - Mara doesn't cook breakfast for visitors but there are stalls and restaurants close to the residence that you can purchase food from - The electricity does go out……
