"Great gated area. Saw lots of wildlife. Easy access to the beach."

"We booked 2 nights at the last minute. The location to the beach was perfect and condo was walking distance also to a well stocked store. Check in was very easy . Owner Brendan was very quick to respond when I had a question about check in and our overall experience was very pleasant. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware , utensils , glasses ,Etc. Overall this was a very comfortable accommodation. We would not hesitate to rent here again"

"Our stay was wonderful at this Oceanfront condo. The property was very clean and a perfect set up for a family with kids. It rained during our stay but we were able to enjoy the views on the balcony while our little ones napped. It was so convenient to go out to the beach when the weather was nice and pop back in when it started raining! It was very close to Freshfields village which was conventient. We would happily stay here again to enjoy the calmness and beauty of Kiawah!"

"The location is perfect. You have an ocean view from the balcony and are steps from the beach and pool. The unit could use some updating nut overall it was great for me and my two kids."

"This villa is really Nice decorated and comfortable. For the rental price, we would have appreciated beach towels available, as well as a basic kitchen kit (salt and pepper). One of the bedrooms is really noisy du to the AC close by. "

"The most important thing to us was being right on the ocean. The condo worked for us. However, it shows its age, especially on the deck or balcony, which needs new furniture."

"The condo unit is peaceful and has delicate and tasteful furnishings. It is best suited for one or two adults, but not children. It was clean and even though a middle unit, it still had adequate natural light. I enjoyed my stay there."

"Property was very clean and comfortable. We had an extremely difficult year so we wanted peace and quiet and that's exactly what we got. Would highly recommend staying here if you need to relax and decompress. The ocean was too cold for swimming. It would have been over the top with access to a heated pool but still a wonderful place to stay."

"The unite was very nice and well stocked with towels and bedding. The only thing we found that needs attention was the air ducts need to be cleaned some had mold on them and the one in master bed room was not working. But over all a very nice stay will most definably use you again."

"We had a wonderful time celebrating our anniversary at the Pelican Beach Villa! This villa is exceptionally clean and comfortable. The view is beautiful with gorgeous sunsets. Stunning views of the Edisto river. Just a quick walk on the boardwalk to the beach. The wildlife was incredible. We even had some deer come by as we were sitting on the covered porch. Highly recommend this villa! Thanks for having us! 😊"

"The property was perfect size for me and my husband. We had great, easy access to the boardwalk to the beach. We had a great time! The only suggestion I have is to let guests know they need to supply their own shower soap and tissues. Otherwise we were really happy with everything!"

"Loved closeness to the beach! Kitchen supplies were not good, bedding poor quality, ice maker didn’t work, broken lights in master bedroom. Probably wouldn’t stay there again 😞"

"When I mapped the location, it looked like we had to walk down a road to get to the beach. The Boardwalk was literally across the parking lot from our front door."

"I can’t say enough great things about Kiawah Island and this villa was perfect - so close to the beach, just a short few steps across the property. Kiawah was one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen - wide expanse, not crowded even on a holiday week. Paradise! The villa was easy to access and had just what was needed for a great few days."

"This was a very comfortable house. Unsure why it has anything less than 5 star reviews. It was convenient to everything. In fact, I wish we could have stayed longer. If there was a larger group there, there may be an issue because there is only one bathroom, but for the price, you cannot beat this. Its basically across the street from food and grocery stores. Convenient to Charleston, Folly Beach, and anything you need. It is a duplex. Just be aware because people get confused for some reason....
