"The property is well maintained, the beach is absolutely amazing and the location is perfect if you want to be in the quieter part of the island without being awfully far from town. The staff is great and very attentive... "The casa Lus is a lovely little hotel. We had a beautiful Balcony with lots of chairs and loungers.The room had a fridge and a microwave. There was a lovely area to lay in the sun and watch the ocean . There was a beach club Casa del Mar was located close by where you can order drinks and delicious Mexican food. The staff was very accommodating which made our stay very nice . The sunsets on the beach was spectacular. We highly recommend Casa Lus "

"Overall, the hotel is good to excellent. However, the breakfast buffet needs significant improvement. Almost every morning, the 'hot' buffet section food was cold. Sometimes there was butter for toast, other times there was not. Pancakes were served, but nothing provided to put on the pancakes (maple syrup for example). We have stayed at other hotels in Holbox with breakfast buffets, and this buffet was the worse. Other than that, the hotel is excellent."
