"The property owner was an outstanding host and ranks among the very best we’ve encountered. The cottage was exceptionally clean, with an admirable simple elegance that matched the photos and descriptions perfectly. The neighborhood is culturally rich and the cottage is just a few minutes away from good dining options, the beach, and the train/taxi station. This is a truly special place. We particularly enjoyed taking baths in the spacious bathtub and preparing meals with fresh local fruits and vegetables in the beautiful, intimate private courtyard. Highly recommend!"

"This place is fantastic. It’s in a really cute part of the village which is charming. There are shops and restaurants nearby. It’s very quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed the wood stove. The kitchen is stocked with coffee, tea, milk, sugar, orange juice, bottled water, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. But you will have to buy ice, which they have at a little market around the block. Our phones did not work but Ellen was great and we worked everything out through the VRBO app. If you are worried about being outside of the city the train is reliable and gets you to the heart of town quickly. I’m really glad we stayed here!"

In Cabrils (Barcelona at 20 km). Apartment with sea view, pool and very quiet

Stunning and incomparable view, close to great hikes

"Loved the property and the proximity to the local park. The hike to the castle is a must, with steep grades. Check-in and out with Jordi was very flexible and easy, though our stay wasn't bookended by others. His recommendations were spot on- take the train into the city, the hike was great. Private parking, as we had a rental car. The place was immaculate and beautifully decorated. Full glass front allows you to wake up looking at the sea and basked in the sunrise. We had a 2 year old there, they provided a pack and play for him to sleep, without request. As an observation, the apartment is lovely, and borderline suitable for a toddler- mostly with concern over the balcony railing (large gaps to allow for open viewing, though keep an eye on a toddler) and beautiful bathroom sink and mirrors for decor- this isn't a critique, but something to be aware of if traveling with a small child. That said- we would not have changed a thing about our plans, and would again return with our 2 year old. Many thanks for an excellent experience and kudos on maintaining a gorgeous property."

Beautiful Barcelona Beach Town

"Our family and friends had an incredible time staying in this charming, beautiful, quaint home outside of Barcelona. With easy access to the city, this spacious, old world home offered us the balance of big city tourism and R&R time while in Barcelona. In addition to the stay, the hosts offered a unique private, custom paella and cream dessert experience that was as good as it gets. When we come back to Barcelona, we will surely repeat our stay."

Spectacular sea and mountain views in a house designed by an artist

Pleasant Stay

"My friends and I had a very pleasant stay. The house is super fun to explore and take photos of the intricate art. I did make the mistake of booking the stay when I saw it hosted 6 people and only clicked 4 on accident and the host was kind enough to let me pay for the additional guests. It was a lovely experience. My only surprise is that the host was staying at the villa on a lower level outside and I was not aware (it was not an issue at all). The house is very fun to explore and walk around and look so I am happy the host introduced themselves before I explored and wondered into the area they were staying. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone that wants to have a lovely experience and likes a beautiful view."

Lovely beach home

"Great place for a short stay for 3 adults, we all had separate beds and rooms with all the comforts of home. Clean 2 story beach home with roof top terrace, very well equipped. In a safe quiet area close to all amenities. Hosts were very gracious and helpful with providing directions and suggestions of the area, made our stay very pleasant!"
