"This was a great location. Having the little kitchen and a hot tub on the deck was amazing. Taking a little stroll at night was picture perfect. It is remote though, so make sure you have a rental car and any snacks and drinks you need before you settle in for the night. I’ll stay here again, it was lovely. "

The cabin comfortably fit two, but there's a pullout couch (at least in Cabin One) for an additional sleeper. "The stay was great for a quick stop. We wished the lights on the back porch turned off. It didn’t make for great northern lights viewing. All of the cabins had lights on the porch. They must be controlled by the light outside."

"This cabin was the best. The views were amazing, the upstairs was cozy, and there was enough space for my family of three to stretch out and feel comfortable. It's out of the way enough that we felt like we were in our own space, but not too far away from Akureyri. Even though we spent two nights in this cabin almost a year ago, my husband and I still talk about how we wish we could return to Iceland and spend a week in this cabin. "

It was the perfect basecamp for us as we travel mostly during the day and came back to the best amenities and such a great open space for all of us to relax. Communication was thorough but through WhatsApp and through a very detailed handbook left inside! Would absolutely recommend this place to future guests!"
