"My husband and I so enjoyed our stay in the Pineapple Cottage at Hulili Farm. While the location made sight-seeing around the island easy, we often opted to stay in and enjoy the sound of the rain on the roof and the sway of the hanging bed on the lanai. We hope to come back again soon!"

"These were our last 2 days on this island and this was exactly what I hoped for- local style and proximity to secluded shady awesome beaches. Would have loved to stay here longer or the whole time but we explored Kona first then Hilo side. Having once lived on Kauai myself years ago- this is what I remember and longed for!! "I came for a conference and did not want to stay at the hotel ,boy did I make the right choice ! This cottage is absolutely charming and quiet,well stocked with everything you need to have a wonderful time! We cooked outside most nights and enjoyed different beaches every day. Lava Lava Beach club and the Hale bar at the Fairmont were really nice and both close to the water. We will definitely be back ! Thank you for sharing this wonderful property!"

"I loved the location of this vacation home. Updates from the photos as far as the kitchen is that the fridge is bigger and outside on the porch along with the induction cooktop. The grill was in great working condition. I really enjoyed cooking and eating outside on the porch. The view is spectacular. Jim was an amazing host and took the time to walk me around. I will be booking with Jim and Kim again."

"I know it's cliche, but I truly wish I could give Bev and Gerry more than five stars. Their property is stunning - we spent half a day just roaming the beautiful grounds, seeing the plants and animals. It's incredibly secluded and felt like we were in our very own tropical paradise. Bev and Gerry are outstanding hosts and do everything they can to make the place welcoming and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here, and hope we can make it back one day."

"If you want to stay where you'll experience the open expansiveness that is the Big Island, then this unique unit is your ticket. Located on the sloping plane between Waimea and the coast, you'll be minutes away from civilization yet out on the open ranching grasslands with a spectacular view of the water... Check-in couldn't have been easier, Yumi was swift to respond to any communications, and the building itself is one-of-a-kind. I'd definitely go back."

"I was super excited to stay at this property. The pluses...the Koy pond. The fish are amazing and love to eat. Also, the sounds at night from nature. Would have been nice to have a lounger in the sun room rather than just chairs. Not many other pluses. We tried to get connected to Internet. The welcome book didn't seem to match the house. The descriptions were off. There were at least 5 remotes but none of them did anything. Only one turned off and on the TV. TV was activated through Roku....

"The cottage is nice, beautiful views, beautiful grounds to walk around in with fresh fruit to be enjoyed off the trees. The owners live next door and are absolutely lovely people with vast knowledge of the area and all the rare and unusual plants on the grounds. It is a very private area and lends to a very calm and relaxing stay."

"A stunning and beautiful situation and location. The hosts Garrett and Kaia were so pleasant to deal with and very helpful. They made suggestions as to sights to see and good places to eat, going so far as to even picking up a meal for us. There was plenty of room at this location for all of our family and each member had their own room. Out grand children greatly enjoyed the animal life both domestic and wild. Mahalo Kaia and Garrett."
