"The cabin was really nice. It stayed plenty warm for us the couple days we stayed there. The only downside is you can hear every footstep and whisper anywhere in the cabin. We didn't think to bring our own box fans for background noise, but it would have been nice if there were some provided. And the water smelled horribly like sulfur, we had to go buy our own water."

"We had an amazing stay here at this house. It was super cozy with the snow all around. We enjoyed the fire and the hot tub every day. The primary bedroom was very comfortable. The driveway was a little rough with our minivan the first night. If there is a lot of snow you may need AWD/FWD. We would definitely return."

"We were looking for a quaint place to get away for springbreak 2024 and found this gem. Nice and quiet, snowed, miles hiked on the north country trail, and views of the lake from the hot tub. The little gas station around the corner had amazing pizza too. The ownees checked in on us and were great communicators. The place is small but it was a perfect fit for 2 adukts, 2 kida and a chocolate lab to sneak away and have lake front views."

"The property is wonderful lots of extras besides the cabin itself eg. Kayaks ,waterfront ,bikes ,cornhole,ect. The host is very easy to work with just leave things how you found them. I went with my wife and 3 week son and our doggo, And mind you it was cold snowing and raining and we still loved it. We will definitely be back. 5 stars 🌟 10/10 thank you guys from the pauwels family sorry we were a little late checking out 🙂"

"Property owner answered all my questions in a timely manner. The property was exactly as described. Me and 6 of my buddies stayed there for a nice fishing and golfing trip and had plenty of space to hang out on a rainy day. Really enjoyed our stay!!"

"The cabin was clean. Very nice dishware and plenty of dishes and cookware. We brought night lights for my elderly mother to have safety in the dark, being in the woods made it comfortably dark for most. The mattresses were not up to my current quality, but were sufficient. The linens were nice and extra available. Towels were newer and plush. The toaster only had one side that was fully functioning...but we made due. The pot holes on the dirt road could use some frequent attention. Overall......

"There were detailed and plentiful descriptions and photos of every room in the cabin and the surrounding area. The cabin was clean and well-stocked, there were even bottles of water in the frig. The check-in and check-out processes were clearly explained. And the owner was easy to communicate, and very accommodating. It was a pleasant experience spending the weekend in this cabin!"

The “living room” are didn’t have much seating for the number of people the house sleeps. I think there should be something in the description that mentions the kitchen and living room are 15 steps up."

"The cabin was cute! Extremely clean and had just about everything we needed. Larger than it looks. Very private. Loved the woods. The rules were a little strict, in my opinion. But probably fine for most people. A couple things to note for future stays: bring paper towel, long lighter & hatchet (there's plenty of wood, but the logs were big and not split) The beginning of the trail behind the house is not marked or really visible, but if you just walk straight back, you will reach it! "The property was quiet and in a great location, our neighbors in the camper were very friendly also seen them on the dunes and meet their kids great time. Hot tub was amazing will definitely consider this property again. Few things they can add is a mop, dust pan, and a small vacuum. Other than that it was great."

"We had a fantastic stay at our cottage. Beach and bath towels were provided, space was clean and cozy, grill and fire pit out back with chairs. Even the internet access was great. And being steps away from your own quiet beach access point was amazing. Incredible views and very convenient. Would highly recommend."
