Hotel is very thoughtful in providing the essentials in the room and free made-to-order daily breakfast and snacks bar. Many eateries and Ben Thanh Market are within the vicinity. Definitely a highly recommended place to stay when in HCM.

Everything was reallt great. Service qas quick and easy. Breakfast options change daily and were cooked to order and well prepared. Unlimited beer and snacks in the uostairs pantry is a huge bonus too. Breakfast and every4hinf is included in the price. Cafe downstairs was a grwat spot to just chill. Bui Vien walking Street and Ben Thanh markets are both walking distance from here. Plenty of food options around too. Room wad clean and tidy, there was a safe to keep our improtent belongings. Staff wer super friendly and helpful. Would definitley come back. Well worth the price.

Had a Great time in Vietnam and this place was part of the reason why. Friendly staff. Always smiling and communicating with them was no problems. The breakfast and pantry upstairs was a great way to start and end a day. Rooms were clean and they had no problem cleaning when you changed the sign on the door. Air con worked great. Showers take a while to heat up but found out a cool shower is all you need in Saigon.

We have lots of issues after checking in. There walls were so thin you could hear someone sneeze in a different room. The 1st and 2nd floor of the hotel are common study areas so its always busy when arriving. Its had college students gathering at all hours as its open 24 hrs. We also had issues with our water temperature the first 2 nights and they finally fixed in 2 days before we left. Would not recommend

Convenient location to access the sights of Ho Chi Minh. The free drinks/snacks were a nice extra and the rooms were comfortable and stylish! Roof terrace was also a nice view after dark.

I’m genuinely confused by the good reviews of this place. It was quite literally disgusting. The floor of my room looked like it had not been mopped in a very long time with spots of grime that rubbed off with my shoe, so they were not just stains. The hammock was so dirty it literally had full dirty foot prints inside. The common areas and the hallway looked like an urban parking garage that had never been cleaned and the tables for eating were so dirty my skin stuck to the surface. I didn’t even consider the free breakfast given the state of what I could see, I can’t even imagine what you can’t. It was nice they had free beer and the laundry was a nice touch. The bed appeared to have been laundered and was comfortable. The decor is cute and this place has potential but it’s all a no in its current condition.

Great hotel in a convenient location
Tucked into a corner close to the Ben Tnanh market is a quirky hotel that is perfect. There is no porter to carry your bags up the 5 steps but once inside it’s all easy with a lift. The reception seems to be the coffee shop but the girls were lovely. The room was really spacious and had a view of the city (even the loo and shower). We are an older couple in our 60’s and we liked the raised bed on a platform but a bit of fun getting out of. Loved the swinging chair in the room. Plenty of space for our two large suitcases. There is free beer, soft drink, water, snacks, coffee and hot chocolate, yoghurt, flavoured milk - this came in handy when we just wanted to sit on the roof and rest after a long day of travelling. No one abuses this while we were there so it’s a nice touch… especially the water. All the bottles and cans are recycled. We didn’t get our room cleaned and the towels were huge but heaps of hanging space and they dried easily. There was even a vapouriser in the bathroom so the room smelt fabulous. Breakfast was good and 3 options that changed daily. Would definitely recommend this place - we wished we knew about it when we first arrived. So convenient to everything. It is a bit like a backpackers style hotel but without the parties. We met a few younger (30-40 yo) people and had some lovely chats.

Absolutely wonderful people! They helped us so much arrange our travel arrangements and went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly for us. I could not recommend this hotel enough. Newly refurbished modern rooms, roof top, free laundry, lovely breakfast with options that change daily and free beer!!! As well as free noodles, snacks and soft drinks. Great location - close to the main attractions but on a very pleasant street with the best bah mi shop in town! Queues down the street all day. If you need somewhere chill, practical but nice - this is the perfect place. Arranging airport transfers was very easy and only £14 for door to door service. We are staying here again at the end of our trip, and are very excited to go back! Thank you Sammy and the team ❤️

I stayed at The Hammock Hotel, Ben Thanh from 10-13 May 2023. This small cozy hotel located in the midst of a busy street Le Thi Reing, is very convenient in terms of eating options. The hotel is also quiet and safe as it is in the neighbourhood. There are many shops surrounding the hotel within walkable distance, however, transport e.g. Grab car service offers you an alternative option in case you are not in the mood to walk due to the hot and humid weather. In particular I like the friendly service provided by the hotel staff, in particular, Ms Sam, Ms Peace, Ms Tracy and Mr Thng. They are always so helpful in terms of providing direction, assistance to make our stay so comfortable and at home. The 7th floor pantry unit offers a place to catch up with your fellow travelling friends with free beer, drinks, titbits, coffee/tea, pastry, yoghurt in case you feel hungry at night. All consumables in the hotel room are also free, hence you need not venture out at night if you feel hungry in the night as you can easily prepare a simple instant noodle without going out of the hotel. I will definitely come back in my next get away from my home country! :)

I would give a perfect score if it wasn't for the broken AC. Amazing location that is within 10 minutes walking distance to everything! Room was clean. You could tell they renovated a previous establishment though. The amount of things they include was amazing though! Three breakfast meal options including pho was included. Unlimited free beer, water, pop, chips, instant noodles was super cool. It was nice that there was a cafe on the ground floor open 24/7 and a study/shared workplace on the second floor. So you knew there was always people in the building.
