"The hotel was in a beautiful location in Savannah and had a very accommodating and friendly staff. If we’re lucky enough to go to Savannah again we’ll stay at the same place. "

"My husband and I had a great time in Savannah! The Carriage House was very clean and very close to everything! Once we arrived we parked our car and were able to walk everywhere! I would definitely recommend this property!"

"I loved the old world charm & the decor. The breakfast & dessert nacks were delicious. The staff were awesome (Gary & Dwayne). The room was very clean & nicely decorated. What I did not like was the noise that you can hear (beautiful tall windows but not sound proof). I also was a little uncomfortable being asked if I wanted to leave a tip after check out. This was totally new & so unsure so I declined. Not because the staff was not great, just caught me off guard. Perhaps some pre warning...

"Our stay at the JW Marriot was excellent. Perfect location. Everything was perfect about this stay."

"Great location. We got an upgrade with balcony. However no daily housekeeping, I requested cleaning up the room, for the next morning and only the towels were changed. No answer from the Manager . Not a good idea the policy of no daily housekeeping for the guests"

"Our bathroom was not as clean as I would like. Baseboards were dirty along with the front face of the sink cabinet "

"Rooms were pretty good, breakfast was well stocked and plenty of space to eat. Pool was closed down by the health department our entire trip, which was a huge disappointment! After walking around Savannah all day we were really looking forward to a swim. We would stay here again, only a 12 minute walk to River Street. Parking is $40 per day valet only, but they were excellent and fast."

"Housekeeping only came once during our stay and only replaced the towels. No beds made, trash cans not emptied, floors not mopped! Our socks had to replaced due to the foors condition. The staff was very friendly and helpful "

"We'd read a lot of conflicting information about this place. Some people complained about construction updates, or the Valets, or whatever. We didn't have any problems when we were there. The staff and valets were super nice. The breakfast was great, and the rooms were quiet and comfortable. We'd highly recommended this place for a stay!"
