"This place is absolutely wonderful! The house was perfect for our group of 10 and there was room for the two that were unable to come. The outdoor space is impossible to describe. Listening to the water, whether inside or out was so incredibly soothing. It was a great place to relax, read a book, take a nap or just sit in any number of little spots to enjoy nature. Its proximity to the charming town was perfect without the noise. We never even left for dinner preparing everything right there. We all agree that it has been our favorite spot for our annual family vacation. What a gem!"

"This place was everything we could have asked for. Beautiful views, lots of space, and easily the most well-stocked, turn-key vacation rental we’ve ever stayed at. There’s a beautiful waterfall on the property that was great to hike to, and our kids loved the tree house, the arcade, and all of the board games and toys. Perfect for a family getaway. Can’t wait to come back!"

"The room was very basic, but met all my needs---it was small, but clean and quiet--I had a mini refrigerator and Keurig, so I had everything I needed. The bed was comfy and my (limited) interactions with the staff were kind and considerate. I will definitely be staying there again. "

"Had a wonderful birthday trip. The house was cozy. We loved the screened in porch and grilled out every night. Sat around the fire pit one night. Location was very convenient."

"Property as described. Very clean. Comfortable. Enjoyed the decks and views, just wish we didnt have so much rain to enjoy it even more! (The covered patio doesnt protect from rain well). Close proximity to town, "easy" walk in regards to distance (which is why we chose this place) however very steep walk home. Disclaimer: we're from florida so any incline seems steep, haha, but the road and driveway were def very steep! Made for a good workout. Most enjoyed bringing our two dogs for very minimal fee, which we appreciate! Loved our stay, enjoying the house, charming town, and nearby naturesque trails!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed The Nest! A very cool place in a perfect location, easy walk to everything in downtown Highlands including some hiking trails. The host was very responsive and included some nice touches with extra amenities waiting for us upon our arrival. We absolutely recommended The Nest!"
