Love the cleanliness and cozy environment of the hotel. But i guess it is an old building so the sound can penetrate the wall easily - you can easily hear people chatting in the communal area on the floor below and in the hallway, thus had to ask the receptionist to kindly remind other guests (it was midnight already).

First the clerk wanted to take our passports which is a big NO!! Then no plugs for breathing machine near the bed!!! Room was cold and then the shower was hotter than hell! I would not recommend nor would I ever stay there again!!

Booked as attending a wedding nearby that began at 11am and went until late at night. Staff were so accommodating; I was able to check in early which was really helpful. Room was clean and modern, bed was comfortable, shower pressure and temperature were great. I didn’t eat but breakfast looked nice. Would definitely stay again if visiting the area.

The decor was nice and didn't feel too dated. The receptionist was friendly and efficient. However, I was left waiting for a long time at the bar to get a drink. I was speaking to someone at the bar when my food arrived, but no one told me, so I don't know how long the food had been on my table before I got back to it. In the morning, I had to have a cold shower because, apparently the pilot light went out on the boiler because of the wind. The bed was also very soft and uncomfortable.

Staff should be aware of other guests smoking and making excessive noise outside the main Reception vestibule which causes inconvenience to ground floor rooms, especially the disable room at the very front of the hotel.

The hotel was very convenient. It was clean and comfortable though a little expensive. The staff were polite and friendly.They would not book a cab for us but provided numbers of local firms for us to do it ourselves.

When we arrived we were told that there was a party and they gave us a room immediately over the area where the party was being held. The hotel was big enough for them to give us one further away. We decided to go home about 10.30pm all the way to Norfolk. As we needed to get home for something the next day so decided it wasn’t worth staying the night.

The hotel was fine for a one night stay. The only problem was with the breakfast. The croissants and other pastries had completely run out by 9.00 before we were able to get any and they didn’t have didn’t have any more.
