The service is very good, they help you with everything you need to be able to do it, the room is very comfortable and pleasant. Breakfast is varied and we always have coffee in the morning.

This Hostal was everything we needed for our stay in Havana ! They helped with nearly everything we needed , even before our trip started ! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful ! The highlight was that they offered us a late check out (at 17.00) without extra charges and also they kept our luggages during our excursions in other cities of Cuba! Thanks a lot for everything!

I have spent more than 7 days at the Alhabana hostel, from the first day the attention was excellent, the staff was always attentive and attentive to my needs, every day they cleaned my room so every time I entered it was like the first day, the breakfast It was very good and the cook was attentive to everything I needed. It is very easy to walk around the place since it is central. I asked for extra nights and they gave me the junior suit, I loved it, it has a balcony and is bigger, I really enjoy the comfort they provide me in the place. Everything is central so I don't have to take a taxi and I can do several things while I walk around the city. Very good recommendations for this beautiful place. I will return very soon

1. excelent place to stay the check-in was simple and hassle free. the price is worth what you really got. a very warm and friendly staff all them are ready to help you out any time , definitely they make feel you home. a very good buffet type-breakfast, the rooms are comfortable enough and beds and bathrooms stuff are ok and and basic supplies as bottles water and drinks are in place. so, I'd definitely recomend Hostal laahabana as amazing place to stay in La Habana.

Rafael was really nice and helpful, he gave us lots of good tips for being in cuba for the first time. He also upgraded one of our rooms to a bigger room at no extra charge, which we really appreciated after a long day of travelling. Thanks Rafael!

While staying in Alhabana, the staff provided exceptional support, efficiently meeting all our needs. They offered comprehensive guidance on tours and site visits and arranged transportation to the airport and Varadero. The hotel's surroundings offer a contrast to the luxury of the old town, providing a glimpse into authentic life in Havana. Despite its bustling nature, the neighborhood is considered safe, and Old Havana is just a five-minute walk away. Additionally, the internet quality met satisfactory standards for Havana. Throughout our stay, we enjoyed wonderful days with the entire staff, particularly Rafael, Fabio, Mariem, and especially Roxy with her special support, who cared for us like family. The breakfast provided was simple, yet fresh, clean, and abundant, setting us up for enjoyable days in Havana. We look forward to returning to this hotel on our next visit to Havana.

Very clean, well-managed accommodation. Our room was spotless and comfortable - we had a well-stocked bar fridge, a private bath and shower and comfortable king-sized bed. The 24-hour reception was staffed by warm, always helpful young people who were eager to help solve any problems or questions we had. They exchanged our U.S. and Canadian $ for CUPs (at a VERY favourable rate), arranged for taxis, and helped us navigate the city. Housekeeping and breakfast were strong and consistent. We felt very welcomed, at home, and you will too! We were about a 10-15 minute walk to many of the major sights. Great place to stay in the true conditions of the city.

I had a lovely stay at Alhabana. The staff at the front desk were very nice and helpful. Roxanna was very sweet, she called me taxis and helped me with anything I needed. They exchanged my money for me as well. I want to note that as a female solo traveler i felt extremely safe inside the hotel as they keep the door locked, however the area surrounding the hotel is not the safest. I would still recommend to stay here but keep in mind i would not suggest walking especially a woman if you are alone. I only went outside when my taxi was waiting out front. Other than that, my stay was very pleasant. There was hot water every day, WiFi is $5, and there is free breakfast of fruit, tea, bread and coffee.

The best accomidation that i stayed while in cuba i dont want to leave . The staff are so welcoming and feel like a relaxing atmosphere any questions that you have its no hassle to ask the staff everyone is very nice i would like to thank roxy for my itinary that she put together and confirmed with me before i even reached the island they even sang happy birthday on my birthday to breakfast and had a piece of cake for me what a surprise i was not expecting that i thank them for the nice gesture . And they are so understanding my flight departs a little late and they offered a complimentary check out. Any one that is looking for a great place friendly staff and alot of entertainment and great restaurants in the area check no further this is the right place.

This Hostal is awesome! When you enter the place you can see it contrast with the outside area, Inside it is very clean, safe, front desk works 24 hrs, the suite #22 I stayed in was modern and you could think you are in another country because you have everything you can find even in the USA,I had a BIg bedroom with king size bed, a modern bathroom and a living room!! but you are in the center of the old Havana, so you can see the surrounding area as real as it is, You can walk to the malecon which is about 6 blocks from here and or to Del Prado blvd where you can find all kind of restaurants and live music, if you don't like to walk the staff can get you a taxi, The breakfast is included and it is awesome, with a variety of food and fresh natural juices! Try the "Carambola" for a change, Yoenky the person in charge of the breakfast buffet was there to tend to your every need during breakfast, Overall it was a great stay in this place!! TIP: At 9:00 PM there is a ceremony near the lighthouse there is a cannon shooting ceremony every night, they only shoot once so you have to be ready to hear it, or if you want to see it, look for it, very interesting. The dollar conversion in the street is about 260-300 Cuban pesos for 1 US dollar, in restaurants they pay much less.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 times, first one is 2days when we arrived to Havana, then we went to other cities, then we back here for days. Bery good experience, very friendly and helpful help staff , very cozy and clean room, and very convenient location, Stongly recommended.

All the staff were very friendly. I especially appreciated, and was super impressed, by the buffet breakfast service person. This young gentleman treated me as if I were visiting a four-star, full-service hotel. He saw me create a little mess on my day-1 and he instantly stepped in and took care of me. On day-2, te prepared beautiful food plates for me. And tended well for me. His service was "above and beyond" - esp. in a buffet breakfast hotel. In my many years of travel (and i have traveled to 64 countries) his service showed a kind human touch. Thanks! And sorry, I did not get his name.

The staff is very welcoming and eager to provide whatever help you may need. They explain how everything works, and were happy to arrange excursions as needed. Excellent walkable location to Old Havana, and breakfast is included in the room rate. Remember, this is Cuba, so don't expect a sumptuous feast, but it's good food, albeit limited in selections. Also, the neighborhood visually looks somewhat run down, but it seemed to be pretty safe, at least if you're not out at 3 AM. Again, it's Cuba.
