Farmstay with pool and firepit

Secluded country charm in Lancaster County. The Cabin is one of two spaces on the farm for guests to rent. Private entry, queen bed, kitchenette, jacuzzi tub, standup shower, full size fridge, range/oven, and a Keurig. In-ground pool, grill, and fire pit for your use. Minutes from Susquehanna River Trail, Elizabethtown College, and historic Marietta. About 25 minutes to Spooky Nook Sports and Harrisburg Airport, and a half hour to Hershey, Harrisburg, York, downtown Lancaster, Sight and Sound, and Amish Country.

*Note* The cabin directly overlooks the pasture and is adjacent to the barn. It is possible you will hear animal sounds, including sheep, goats, cows, and geese.

Owners work the farm, care for animals on site, and are available if needed but respect guests' privacy.

Super Cute Little Farm House!
This little farm house was perfect for our weekend anniversary trip! It was perfect for the two of us and we had a great time visiting Hershey Park. The house is about a half hour drive from the park which worked out great for us, and there were many little shops/farm stands that we were able to stop in while driving around. Emily and family were super kind when we saw them, and left us a couple of farm fresh eggs in the fridge upon arrival. Both of the cats were also extremely friendly when we were walking around outside on the property. This farm house is great for anybody looking for a short getaway and we would definitely stay again :)

Birthday Get away!
We had a really nice time staying in the little cabin. Emily was always available to answer any questions and made sure we had everything we could need. We recommend checking out the quiet little cabin in the country!! The geese, goats and cats were fun too!!

God Whispers Here
This beautiful farm stay comes as advertised. There are so many layers of beauty to this stay from the cabin, to the location, to the farm animals, that you can't help but hear God's whisper in all of it. My partner and I were delighted with our stay and are already planning on when we can return. This is a worthwhile investment.

Perfect getaway location!
The perfect setting for a quiet getaway. Easy access to all local areas of interest. So quiet , private and peaceful. Emily and her husband went far beyond my expectations to create a perfect hide away. The cabin was cozy, exceptionally clean, safe and secure. Highly recommend if you’re ever in the area.

Absolutely Incredible & Total Fullfilment of Seratonin Getaway
My daughter decided to book the vrbo for a long mother daughter weekend getaway before my major neck surgery. Emily the just was professional, courteous, unbelievably accommodating and very much so welcoming. Her communication was and still is impeccable! We are a family of animal lovers and this cabin stay had baby goats, lamb, sheep, goats, family cats, geese and chicken. These were the animals we were able to enjoy and love on. As for the cabin itself, it was absolutely incredible. Emily had the heat on for us, and it was the perfect temperature not too hot and not too cold, perfect! I asked if she would be able to pick up a bouquet of flowers for me to have it in the cabin as a surprise for my daughter for booking this trip. She did not disappoint! The flowers truly lasted two weeks in my home. We were also welcomed with amazingly fresh and delicious eggs and homemade chocolates. My daughter and I walked into the cabin, and the two of us just looked at each other and just took a deep breath, and said wow! it literally brought tears to my eyes! When we first arrived, we drove into a good amount of snow on the property, but Emily was sure to communicate with us the day prior letting us know of the impending storm, and that if we needed to change our reservations that we would not be penalized. Safety first! Bottom line…Best vrbo ever! We’ll most definitely be returning!

What A beautiful place.
que hermoso lugar todo es exactamente como se muestran las foto mi adorada María y yo celebramos nuestro segundo año de aniversario y también su cumpleaños en este lindo lugar se respira paz y tranquilidad,nos entristecido cuando dejamos la cabaña el lunes por la mañana,y definitivamente regresamos en un corto tiempo, gracias a Emily y familia por ser tan amables. What a beautiful place, everything is exactly as shown in the photos. My beloved María and I celebrated our second year anniversary and also her birthday. In this beautiful place, there is peace and tranquility. We were saddened when we left the cabin on Monday morning, and definitely We returned in a short time, thanks to Emily and family for being so kind.

Perfect escape!
You take a quarter mile drive up a gravel road to the farm. It’s the perfect escape as you wake up each morning to the sound of goats outside your window. Hosts were amazing! Very kind. We were greeted at our doorstep by some cats at check in, and got to feed the goats on our last morning. Surrounding area has decent food and amazing antique shopping. Too cold to hike on our winter trip but it looked beautiful!

Exceeds Expextations!
How are stay could not have been better or more relaxing. The cabin on the farm we stayed in was absolutely beautiful and cozy and had everything anyone needed for a weekend or even a week away. The farm is beautiful and filled with friendly and funny animals. Our hosts are amazing people who also were extremely friendly and willing to provide any resources or information we needed. They provided an extra touch of some fresh eggs from their farm in the refrigerator and some homemade chocolates. We will definitely be returning!

Lovely cabin!
My husband and I stayed at the cabin for a few days to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. It was lovely, had everything we needed and so cute! We enjoyed meeting the animals and Emily was a wonderful host. We even got to hold a one day old baby goat. Would definitely stay there again, and highly recommend!

The cabin was exactly as described in the listing. The property was very clean and prepared. Everything we needed was already there awaiting our use. The property owners were very considerate of our privacy but were available for any questions that we may have had. We would definitely recommend anyone who would like to “get away” and relax for a weekend to book this property. We already discussed booking it again in the near future!

Quiet break from the city.
We were pleased to stay in this warm cozy cabin over Thanksgiving. We came from Long Island to vacation for a couple days and get away from the mad traffic and noise. At this place the stay was very peaceful, quiet, and scenery was wonderful. We enjoyed feeding the goats, snapping pictures of the sunrise and sunsets and also did some site seeing. The hosts were wonderful and went above and beyond to make sure we had a good stay. We highly recommend this place; you will not be disappointed!

Super Cute
Me and my s/o went for the weekend. It’s such a cute little cottage, it’s climate controlled, which you can adjust. Being outside for a little bit and the cats will come up, that was probably our favorite part, along side being able to see all the other animals. I specifically chose this place for the scenery and the jacuzzi bath tub, we used it both nights. It’s right next to a barn and neighbors but still quiet and private.

Quiet cozy cabin
We had a beautiful week in Pennsylvania. Visited alot of areas, Gettysburg, Strausburg, Amish, Lititz, Columbia. This cabin was our home away from home and met all our needs. We enjoyed the quiet peaceful nights with no traffic noise. The hosts were very helpful with anything we needed and made us feel as if we had been their neigbors for years. They have a wonderful little cabin there on the farm! The cabin and the beautiful 75 degeee weather all week was just what we needed!

Cozy cabin getaway
This cute cabin was a perfect getaway! It was clean, and had everything we needed for the weekend. Emily was so friendly and available if we needed anything. We felt so welcome when we walked in and saw the fresh eggs, homemade bread, and apple butter waiting for us. We were able to hike and bike trails in the area, but felt far away from reality when we stepped onto the farm. We would visit again!

Little cabin at the farm
Our stay was nothing short of amazing! Emily communicated every day even letting us know that we could check in early if we were ready. She gave us tons of ideas of what to do in the area such as restaurants close by and the coolest small town to visit (Lititch). We loved feeding the goats and interacting with the other farm animals. It was just what our hearts needed! We highly recommend this property for anyone who wants a simple, but fully accommodating place to stay! It was clean, had everything we needed and was a quiet respite from our usually exhausting lives as teachers in the inner city. It really made me want to look into “Homesteading!” Five stars for sure!
