This stunning 125+ year old cabin in Good Hart with private beach access along the Tunnel of Trees is walking distance from Good Hart. Located on M-119, it is just 20 minutes North of Harbor Springs and 10 minutes North is Cross Village/Legs Inn. This is a perfect place to get away from it all whether you want to do a fall color tour, ski, motorcycle, or hit up all the gorgeous beaches this area has to offer. This is a beautiful spot to making some Northern Michigan memories!

**Please note this cabin does not have wifi or cell service (there is service a 5 minute walk down the road in the town of Good Hart) because when you are at the cabin, it time to really unplug! Cozy Fall Weekend
Our trip to the cabin was exactly what we needed. It reminded me of my grandmothers cabin from my upbringing. All of the thoughtfully placed warm lit lamps, a century of artwork on the walls of every room, a vintage record player were some of the unique features that made this cabin so special. The ambiance in the evenings was magical. We also had the pleasure of watching the herd of deer come down to eat on the property. We would love to come back again!

Perfect little cabin deep in a secluded area
We loved staying here! The cabin is very well stocked with everything that we needed. The kitchen was surprisingly well equipped and we were able to use it to cook every day we stayed there with no troubles. It is just a short 2 minute drive to the private beach but it is a bit difficult to swim due to the larger rocks about 20 feet into the water. Very clean and very lovely. We will definitely be coming back!

Quaint cabin in the woods on beautiful tunnel of trees
The cabin sits about 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive to Lake Michigan (access to GHBA beach). You are surrounded by trees and wildlife at the cabin. The house had plenty of pans and cooking utensils to cook with, wood to build a fire in fireplace and bathroom necessities. Good Hart General store is close by. We enjoyed feeding chipmunks and playing games by the fire. We drove up to Cross Village and ate at Legs Inn...a must do for polish food and unique atmosphere! Pond Hill Farm was a fun stop between Harbor Springs and Good Hart! There really is very little phone signal and no Wifi so be prepared.

Old Cabin Takes You Back in Time
Great place to stay if you want to unplug and be off the grid. It’s quiet, peaceful and the wildlife is close by. If you’re prepared for virtually no cell service, it’s doable. We simply drove a few minutes up the road to check in and get cell service. The locals are very friendly and most helpful. You can drive to a private beach area. Harbor Springs is close, too. Nice place to be in the summer.

Relaxing stay in the woods
All the great reviews got me, and we agree-we loved our stay at the cabin!!! My husband, daughter, and I found it perfect for our get away-well equipped with everything we needed, lovely decor, and cozy. We appreciated the use of the bikes. I thoroughly enjoyed riding down to the general store and 2 other shops and to the beach. Loved sunsets at the beach! Hope to return!

Trillions of Trilliums
Wonderful location for people who enjoy being surrounded by nature. The forest surrounding the cabin was carpeted with Trilliums in full bloom. Cabin would benefit from a thorough cleaning (lots of dust, cobwebs in corners, under beds, etc.) but otherwise a very lovely habitation in a beautiful place. We highly recommend this cabin to others and hope to stay there again.

This was our second stay at this property
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this cabin so much last year that we returned again this year. The location along the Tunnel of Trees makes it a great home base for scenic drives and exploring Pond Hill Farm, Harbor Springs, and the little shops in Good Hart. Highly recommend for a family getaway if you’re looking for a cozy cabin getaway!

A charming retreat
The cabin is even cuter than the listing pictures, it’s historic yet loved and well kept. There are interesting objects and art everywhere, thoughtfully placed by someone with a design sense. Nice furniture, not like some places where all their old furniture goes to die. Lots of lighting options, a fully stocked kitchen, firewood, record player, large windows overlooking the woods, and a short drive to the beach. You could walk but it’s longer than 10 mins. We also really enjoyed the pot pies from the general store. A couple things to note, check out is 10am which is on the early side. Also, there is a musty smell that we found a little bothersome to our sinuses, we burned candles to help but something like a dehumidifier or a diffuser could go a long way! But with that said, we would still stay here again and would just plan accordingly. Hanging out by the hearth fire in the dining room is just too good. Thanks for a great stay!
