“The cabin was the perfect place for our family getaway for the weekend. What a wonderful, comfortable, and peaceful way to spend our time together enjoying the scenery and each other. The cabin was was appointed and the beds were comfortable. The setting is unparalleled. We will be back as soon as we can and often. Thank you for giving us the chance to create this memory”

“Just a couple of suggestions... it was challenging to make a simple pasta dinner as there wasn't a colander and no oven mitts that I could find. Not very many dishes, including no wine glasses that I could find. The bathroom door unlatches and opens from the draft of the front door being opened.”

“This VRBO is a wonderful alternative to typical accommodations in Brookings. Private river access on the peaceful Chetco River. A sweet cottage with a full, well appointed kitchen. You can prepare your own meals or take a 10 minute drive into town to a variety of restaurants and ocean beaches. Dog friendly. Very comfortable accommodations. Hostess is delightful. Quiet location. We slept well.”

“We really enjoyed Sylvia and Larry's cabin located at the scenic North Fork of the Smith River. The cabin was very comfortable and relaxing. The shaded babbling brook with chairs and a hammock were great spots to rest or read next to the cabin. The owners have a house on the property (a private in-holding within the Smith River National Recreation Area) but we still felt like we had a lot of privacy. They were friendly and helpful hosts. We drove short distances for a couple of great hikes in……

Being just a stone's throw away from the beach was a dream, especially with the added bonus of having it nearly all to ourselves. Plus, their thoughtful provision of a hose outside made cleaning up our two furry friends a breeze after their sandy romps. Overall, an enchanting experience that left us feeling rejuvenated and thoroughly content.”

“This property was perfect. It was such a cute cottage with a wonderful back yard. My dogs are small so one of them did slip out of the yard. We made some adjustments & it didn't happen again. We never walked to the beach but it was a short drive. I would definitely stay here again. And I'm recommending this cottage to my friends!”

“The property was beautiful. Outside and inside everything was groomed and well kept. The directions for using the property were all very clear. I called the property manager at the end of our day to check in about something and they were very helpful and kind we will definitely come back.”
