Really good hotel, will use again
Picked this hotel as a modern hotel, but avoiding large costs. The hotel lived up to what I expected and more. Reception was very helpful and friendly. Room was spacious and clean. Bar and food area was bigger than expected. Only let down for me was the lack of evening food, only a selection of toasties. Would have been nice to have something more substantial, particularly on arrival.

Great value, clean and modern, awesome bar.
As long as you understand what you’re getting, and you can live with a small bathroom with little counter space, this hotel is great, and a fantastic value as well. The rooms are rather small -- I think they’re all the same size -- but very modern and thoughtfully laid out. The hotel is run very efficiently, with a smartly quick check-in and out process. The bar is beautiful and fun. The location is a bit industrial right around the hotel but clean and safe and there’s plenty of nice neighborhood-ness within a few blocks. It’s also easy walking distance to the Christmas markets, if you happen to be visiting for that, and in any case it’s easy to get around Hamburg from the nearby transport connections.

Nice stay in middle of Hamburg
We ended up booking at the last minute and were thrilled this place was available. It seemed like a great price for the location right in Hamburg's city center; we walked pretty much everywhere, though there is public transit nearby (including from the airport). Our room was clean with a great shower; no complaints!
