Views are amazing but that’s about it. Service is terrible. Hotel caters to large tour groups and other guests are treated like an afterthought. Showed up for dinner and was offered a table in the back section even though one with a lakeside view was available. We had reserved in advance. Waiter said that he had a large group and lakeside tables were reserved for hotel guests. I pointed out that we were staying at the hotel and then one miraculously became available. Staff seemed like they couldn’t wait to get off work and looked annoyed when we ordered dessert after dinner. Breakfast buffet was terrible, we went to the hotel Gruner Baum next door the second morning and it was much better. The hotel has 3 sections and we stayed in the furthest building from the main section with the restaurant. We had to walk about 5 minutes to reach it. Our bags were transferred to our rooms on arrival but the front desk couldn’t understand why we didn’t want to shuttle out bags on foot to the parking lot (which was about a 20 minute walk from our building). We had to complain in order to get the shuttle to bring us back to where they picked us up in the first place. Nespresso machine in our room was not working the first morning so we asked the front desk for another one. When we came back to our room, the staff left a cup of brewed espresso in the machine to signal that the machine had been replaced but shorted us one espresso for the next morning. Would not go back.
