"The ONLY bit of an issue was that there is some sort of (what I think may be a backwash cycle with a pump or septic system) noise that comes on next to 2 of the bedrooms. This often happened randomly in the middle of the night and it can be a little loud. If it is indeed a pump, maybe it could be set up and scheduled to come on only during the day. Everything else was very clean, nice, and updated."

"Our visit to Waukegan, IL was to attend my son's navy boot camp graduation. The property was nice and in a quiet neighborhood hood. It is close to the Great Lakes Naval base and the beach. We enjoyed our stay."

"My family and I stayed here for my sons Navy Bootcamp graduation. It has 3 rooms. 2 of them have beds. One is a king I believe. The other is a California king, it was sooooo comfortable. The pillows and blankets were like the nice hotels. The other room had bunk beds but it was a full size on the bottom and twin on top. Only reason I’m giving a 4/5 stars is bc that bunk bed was uncomfortable and did t seem safe. The girls only slept there one night."

(Thankfully the owner advises this in the description) There is no parking spot available for your stay so you are advised to park on street by the owner, however, following their instruction resulted in multiple parking tickets which the owner refused to reimburse. "We received notice after the booking — after the property had taken our money apologizing that the “railing was being refinished”. OK. We arrived at the property. Well. That was the understatement of the century. The entire front of the apartment building was under construction. In fact the unit front door was nailed shut with a 2x4. It was not a safe unit. Probably not ready for occupancy by local fire code. We stayed at the local Hyatt at our own expense. VRBO was sent the photos of the...

We were in town for our son’s boot camp graduation and knew we wanted more room to hang out than a typical hotel room would offer.
