The beach was rough on the east side with seaweed due to tropical storms. We be out each day to other beaches. Definitely rent a vehicle as Palmas Del Mar is not located close to San Juan or other attractions. We loved the unit. Plenty of space. The rooms are temperature controlled (have a/c) which allowed us to make the home perfectly comfortable for us. Of the many homes I've booked on this platform all over the world, the pool and grill area on this one is second to none. You have your own resort-style area just for you and your group.
