"This was our 4th stay at this wonderful property. It is perfect for an extended family gathering - we were ten - a 72 year old Grandma, three 40ish couples, three 11 year olds, and a couple of pups. The house is huge, and lots of room to spread out, as well as a number of little nooks for reading or quiet time.The big kitchen is well appointed, and easily accommodates multiple cooks.The back yard is securely fenced so that even determined little dogs can't escape. "This is a beautiful vintage family home that has been lovingly maintained. It is charming and yet has been updated everywhere. The host is very helpful, accessible and considerate. We loved the gracious front porch, the yard is secure for animals and children, the big kitchen with windows overlooking the rose garden is marvelous. "We we're all thoroughly impressed and didn't want to leave! :-p The pictures truly don't do this rental justice. The kitchen island/gas stove range made preparing family dinners extra special, as we could sit around the island, chat, and help each other without overcrowding the "chef" in charge. Plenty of pots, pans, and there's even a crockpot! The kitchen sink looks out onto the deck with a calming, serene view. All of the deco, furniture, lighting, shades, ceiling fan, lights are modern...

"Three of us attended the KVMR Celtic Fair at Nevada County Fairgrounds (close by). Wonderful music; incredible rain! The condo was so welcoming and warm after our day at the Fair. We had everything we needed; and were pleased to have chosen this delightful condo. Close walking distance to shops and restaurants. Hoping to return soon."

"Hummingbird House is clean and spacious, and has pretty much everything you need. The views are very pretty and there is plenty of outdoor space to enjoy--with decking on three sides and lots of outdoor furniture and three sets of sliding doors. The only negative I would mention is that the laundry room is on the other side of the bedroom wall, so you can hear the washing machine when it is running and it was somewhat loud. Also, there is no TV, but if you want to watch TV (as we did) a laptop...
