Enchanting Home w/ Mt Views. Central to Grand Canyon & Flagstaff!

Starry Nights
STR-23-0110

Nestled in the heart of the high desert of Arizona, 10 miles from the old western town of Williams on Historic Route 66 and 45 minutes from entrance to Majestic Grand Canyon, this clean, comfortable home sits on an acre of land and accommodates up to 6 people with 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms.

You'll love the inviting seating and entertainment area, outside in the beautiful red cinder yard. Relax under the pergola with shade for the afternoon sun, enjoy your morning coffee on the canopy swing, and roast marshmallows over an open pit fire while looking out into the spectacular starry moonlit nights. There is also a nice Coleman gas BBQ grill for family cookouts in the spacious yard.

In the living room, you'll find a large flat screen with BroadcastTV and an Apple TV, and you are welcome to enjoy the selection of board games provided. The sofa converts to a queen size sleeper.

There is an A/C wall unit in the main living area.

The kitchen and dining areas should have everything needed for preparing and enjoying meal time. In addition to all essential appliances and serve-ware, the home also has a standard coffee maker, crock pot, toaster, and blender. There is a dining room table that seats 6, and a card table with 4 chairs tucked away for extra seating, along with a breakfast bar and 2 stools.

The lovely master bedroom has a new, queen size and comfy pillow top mattress.

The master bath has a skylight and a large oversized oval tub just made for a long relaxing soak.

The 2nd bedroom also has a queen size bed, and there are two twin beds in the 3rd bedroom.

The main bathroom has a skylight, full bath, and shower.

There is a full size washer and dryer, with laundry soap provided, for your convenience.

This property is conveniently located close to many of the attractions Northern Arizona has to offer such as hiking, golf, shopping, fishing, skiing and:

•    The entrance to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon is 45 minutes away
•    Downtown Williams, where cowboys swagger and a gunfight breaks out every night in the middle of Route 66, between April        and October is about 10 miles away.
•    Bearizona and Grand Canyon Deer Farm are only 10 minutes away
•    The Grand Canyon Railroad (AKA - the Polar Express during the holidays!) is right down the road
•    You can reach downtown Flagstaff in half an hour
•    See the beauty of the red rocks in Sedona within a 1 1/2 hour drive

Pets are considered, however we asked that you keep "4 on the floor" as we say in our house. Pets are not allowed on furniture or bedding. Also, please pick up after them outside. We usually allow one small to medium size dog. No vicious breeds. No other pets are permitted without Manager approval.

Please note that the last mile or so to the cabin is on a dirt road.  Please drive slowly. In the winter, 4-wheel drive may be needed.

All in all, you will find this home to be a great value, so take some time to relax and get away from it all!

*******Please note that VRBO listing number 874352 is next door to this home (Sleeps 10), if you have a large group that wants to stay together.********

misconceiving property pictures
The property was not well maintained. Grass was up to waste, trash all over property, grill is charcoal but listed as gas. The house was a double wide trailer in a rundown neighborhood. Front screen door, rocking chairs, and front porch bench were all broken. Inside the house seemed clean, but my husband had an allergic reaction on day two because of cat fur being in master bedroom. Dishes were rusted and old being about 50 years old. I was responsible for taking the trash out of trash on pick up day, unbelievable considering how much I paid for the property. The gas station down the street was egregiously expensive. Bought 2 extra small bags of charcoal and small batch of wood costing 55.00 dollars. This was my very first time renting from Vrbo, which was completely disappointing. We left a day early.

Great location if visiting the Grand Canyon. Great star watching at night. Get the feeling of being secluded and enjoy the high desert feeling but just minutes from Williams, AZ. Williams is a neat town lots of great stores and restaurants. Would definitely visit again.

This was a great VRBO.It was clean, quiet, and peaceful. The vibe was not luxury, but when you are less than an hour from the Grand Canyon, luxury is found outside, which it was. The night skies were amazing.

Short weekend away
This was a great place to stay for a weekend away! I would recommend anyone who stays to bring their own pots and pans and kitchen cleaning/supplies. It is a rental so the kitchen stuff is pretty old and dirty but it worked well for us still! Great property and location we all had a relaxing fun time in the house. It had plenty of towels and bed sheets. It is close to a great petting zoo/deer farm and Bearizona!

Snow in Arizona
This house was very comfortable with a large family room that accommodated all 5 of us plus a dog. It was 5 miles outside of Williams (easy access to town though) and very quiet. It is a spacious property with plenty of area to play in the snow. The roads and driveway were plowed by the HOA after a night of heavy snow, so we were able to get to main road easily. Very cozy home, good cell service and Wi-Fi. Beds were a bit soft, but we all slept well.

Nice quiet area
Home is very clean and comfortable. Easy to work with property manager and staff, very responsive. Great location for trip to Grand Canyon, Williams, or if you are in the area for hunting. Kitchen could use some updated pots and pans and miscellaneous items for meal prep but overall it was a good place to stay while we were up in the area. We rented this place twice, both times for a week stay

Great spot!
We stayed at this spot for a girls trip to visit the Grand Canyon. It’s very easy to get there! The place itself exceeded our expectations- it had everything we needed to have a great weekend; comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen, and it was clean! It was a nice alternative to flagstaff and the restaurants in Williams were really cool to check out.

Mostly great
There is a lot of good to say about this property. Such as, - Not too close to other homes - Great views - Plenty of space inside and out - Full of home resources (lots of kitchenware, etc.) - Nice landscaping (we got lucky with tons of blooming wildflowers) - Great location for visiting local attractions A few things are worth noting that are less than great. Such as, - The road going in is unpaved and very bumpy in places - Internet and cell access was poor. Don't count on it. If we'd known this before booking it might have been a deal breaker. - Some appliances need help - Water is limited and must be carefully monitored - There are tons of ants living on the land (outside only)

Comfortable Stay 50 min from the canyon
Modest but comfortable space, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Air conditioning is only in the kitchen/dining/living area, but we were comfortable during our stay by opening windows and leaving doors open during the day to cool everything down. Owner came to check the water tank and is is very friendly.

Beautiful location, clean house
Starry Nights was very well situated near Williams, only 35 minutes to Flagstaff (which has MANY more outdoor activities than we ever thought), and about 45 minutes to the South Rim entrance of the Grand Canyon. The yard and especially the view at night were gorgeous. The house was very clean, although it's looking a little worn - the carpets really should be replaced and the grill was not usable (rusted and gas leaking). The kitchen was well-stocked and the full hand soap dispensers were a nice touch (amazingly that's not common). The management company was very responsive when we had a slow drain in the shower and questions about the trash. All around a very good rental - we would come back.

Beautiful home
We stayed in September and had a wonderful time. The property is very scenic and the home was clean and supplied with everything we needed. The only thing that was less than perfect was that the home gets very warm at night so be prepared to use fans. The property lends itself to spending time outside. We spent every night outside by the fireplace and under the stars. The home is located within 15 minutes to Williams, 45 minutes to The Grand Canyon, and 1.5-2 hours to Sedona. There is also a neat place called Bearizona that we highly recommend. Overall we had an amazing stay!

Comfortable home
Pros - good location, super quiet at night, the home was well worn but very clean; our dog loved the acre yard. Cons - no internet or workable TV, front storm door locked us in the house because it was installed wrong (hint, don't pull the door tightly shut), the carpet was stained and worn, and the throw rugs covering the carpet stains created trip hazards.

Good location, clean house, nice outdoor space
The check-in/out instructions were very clear and we had good communication with the property manager. The house was clean and had good outdoor space for my family of five. It was so nice to have the bowl of snacks on the table for our kids when we arrived, thank you for that! It is in a good location (1 hour drive to South Rim Grand Canyon and 10-15 minute drive into Historic Williams) and is in a seemingly safe community with many other houses around. Having the gate at the end of the driveway provided us additional peace of mind as we slept with the windows open. There is one window A/C unit in the kitchen and we appreciated that small fans were provided for each bedroom. With our trip in July and temperatures in the low 90’s during the day, we definitely needed the fans at night. The house was clean, the appliances worked well, and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals. The house did have wi-fi during our stay, which was nice. In Williams, we loved taking the train on the Grand Canyon railway to the Grand Canyon one day! We also loved the Wild West Show on Route 66 and Pine Country Restaurant for dinner and pie!
