Great place to stay at the Grand Canyon. Gym sucked but hot tub was awesome! Nice to be off the Main Street - this is a small apartment back off the Main Street.

The stay was awsome we got one of the suites on the other side of the hotel away from people. Plenty of things nearby, close to the park and other little parks or activities. The suites are tricky to find. don't go to the grocery store accross the street it's ridiculously expensive and they put the price tag sticker on the back so you don't know until you check out.

Was surprised there was no storage for clothing in the room - not a single drawer to unpack a suitcase into. Loved having a kitchen available - would have liked a chair to sit in besides the kitchen chairs.

We stayed here for two nights during our short visit to Grand Canyon NP. We pretty much used it for breakfast, in-room takeout dinner, and sleeping, and it was fine for that. Everything was clean. The only complaint is that we're coffee drinkers, and we expected a normal (home kitchen type) coffee maker in the suite; instead, the unit was equipped with one of those little single-cup "tea bag" coffee makers that are normally found in hotel rooms, and the hotel only supplied two of the little coffee bags by default. Also, it would be really helpful if this hotel (and most others, for that matter) would provide *two* luggage racks instead of just one, as most couples have two suitcases. Aside from those minor inconveniences, our stay here was OK.

Thank you so much IVAN for staying with us. Since the studio can only accommodate 2 guests, we provide single serve coffee instead. It is recommended due hygiene reasons following the recent pandemic. We also provide daily housekeeping service, and the amenities will be replaced daily. Should more amenities be needed during your stay, please contact our 24/7 staff for assistance. For the luggage rack, we will discuss this within our management team for improvement in the future. Did not have reservation in their system. Bed 8” off the ground and uncomfortable. Amenities not refreshed (coffee, tea). Walls super thin could hear others too much. Nice location, clean.

However, we noticed that our staff were able to move other reservations so you can stay in the same room for the entire stay. For room service, we have daily housekeeping available. A bit hard to find. The outside door would not open with room key. Maintenance person sent immediately to rectify. Would be a great place to stay for an extended visit to the Grand Canyon. Close to gate.

Thank you so much Cyril for your comment. Our property is conveniently located in the town of Tusayan. A check in location is at the main hotel but the studio/apt located just a couple minutes away. We are sorry it was bit hard to find but our staff would be happy to provide you with a detailed map along with a direction on how to get there. We also have our staff, who can escort you to your accommodation if prefer. Please do not hesitate to let us know if there is anything else we can do to further improve our service. Thank you.

In general, this was a very nice place to stay. Pros: Close to the Grand Canyon. Best refrigerator I have ever had in a rental. The unit was roomy enough and the kitchen was decently stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc. The laundry room was very convenient in the building and cheap. One star off for these cons: the hallway had putrid smell of something that seems like it's hiding something worse. This fortunately did not extend into the unit. The coffee maker did not work and also the room was not not stocked with regular coffee after I specifically called before check in to ask about the coffee situation. However, both coffee problems were addressed promptly. We went to the close-by McDonalds for coffee both days anyway.

Convenient location, not alway quiet. Kitchen was minimally equipt. Only 3 forks, teaspoons, and dinner plates. No plastic wrap, foil, or plastic containers. No salt & pepper or any other spice. Shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water.

Overall our stay here was very nice. Room was bigger than I expected. Nice comfortable bed, nice bathroom and a kitchen that I planned to take full advantage of. Only issue came when I preheated the oven and it was so full of grease it began smoking and set off the smoke alarm. Next day we reported it to the office but no one ever got back to us so we were unable to use the oven during our stay. Upon check in they gave me some very nice treats for my pup which was a very nice touch.

We enjoyed our stay at the studio. Perfect location and had everything we needed. The hotel serves breakfast and dinner at the main lobby, but we cooked at the studio as kitchen was well equipped

The bed in the studio apartment is on the floor-no box spring. It is difficult to get out of bed.

So many problems
We had an apartment because we were on a road trip. The place was freezing cold when we arrived, so we didn’t notice the fridge wasn't working until the morning. We lost about $100 worth of groceries. When we called the front desk they were not pleasant. There were a lot of other things, like no soap and a broken can opener. The laundry room had a bad smell coming from it.

You reported that you lost some of your perishable items, which we refunded you $100 from your stay. Good location terrible bed.
Good space for bags, groceries, etc. We liked the assigned parking and the quiet area where the studio was located. Would have liked something comfortable to sit in other than the two kitchen chairs. No coffee pot. The kitchen had pots pans, dishes, etc. but no real coffee pot. The bed was miserable. It reminded me of an old mattress that sort of sagged. It was a rough two nights for sleep.

Great apartment very clean. Equipped with all the kitchen utensils you need if you want to eat in. It would’ve been helpful if there was a microwavable plate or dish because we didn’t have any paper plates to use for microwaving food. The person who checked us in was excellent and extremely friendly.

Stay was good .Super close to Grand Canyon Enjoyed watching the elk right across from our balcony every morning. Water was super hot for taking hot showers. But the water pressure in bathroom sink was not good. Had to wash hands in kitchen sink . The room had a bad ant problem also . Over all was a good stay

Not the Best room but front staff was outstanding
Room had dust on walls never mind the fan. The bathroom had bugs alive and well on the floor. There was a moth behind the nightstand. The carpets were filthy and no place to put clothes. Ridiculous!!!!

Dear guests, we are disappointed to hear about your review. Please allow us to clarify each point as follow: 1) Dust mites, rather common in Arizona because of the level of humidity. However, with our elevation (Tusayan) being over 6,600 ft. above sea-level, it is uncommon. Our carpet is thoroughly cleaned after each guest’s departure especially when the rooms were used for pets. The last deep-cleaning was less than a week ago. 2) Gecko, they are common in Arizona and harmless, we apologize if one managed to go inside the building and into your room. 3) Mask mandate in Arizona was lifted on May 21st, 2021. These means our guests and staff who have been fully vaccinated, are no longer required to wear face mask. All other protocols such as single use menu, sanitizing stations and PPE for our cleaning staff are still in place for your safety and ours. Thank you.

Was not worth the money at all. Bad customer service, non working refrigerator, no ice machine, very old and bad bed mattress. Very loud AC. Bad night overall.

Will stay here again.
Room was clean and comfy. Our deck overlooked the meadow and we watched the elk and horses from it. A GREAT place to enjoy the area. Staff very helpful.

Studio wasnt close to pool
I thought the pool and hot tub were in walking distance of studio apt but you had to drive to hotel a few blocks away making it not worth it. And that was a big part of why i chose this place so that was a bummer. We did see elk from our deck which was a huge bonus so yes I'd recommend this place.

Canyon Plaza Premier Apartments review
Overall for a few nights stay it was good. The property is older. Having a kitchen was great. Everything was clean except areas of the kitchen- some of the cups, bowls, and utensils weren’t fully cleaned so we had to re-wash some items. You do have to check in at the main hotel which I was unaware of until I checked my email that I received at the time of booking - so pay attention to the emails. The apartments are down the road from the main hotel.

Nice studio apartments. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Close to Grand Canyon entrance. Improvements in providing utensils and glassware in the kitchen like spatulas or wine glasses, dish towels. Interior sound travels throughout the floor.
