"The room was very nicely updated with a few contractor blemishes, but overall good. The beds were ok. I have a bad back and need a soft mattress. There beds slightly bothered my back, but it wasn’t anything I couldn’t walk off in the morning or that kept me from getting a descent night sleep. Would stay here again. This place was way better than some of the places I’ve stayed in the U.P."

"The listing was so accurate, however the wildlife in the backyard was more than I could’ve hoped for. Sitting by the fire (they even provided wood, love!) and watching deer eat and bats fly by and we even got a woodpecker visitor. It’s nice and quiet all around and only 15 minutes from bigger towns. Sucks it rained most of the time and couldn’t do much exploring, but I think that was the universe telling us to take a break and relax. Stacy is so kind, they even left cute little chocolate bars for us on the table. The pillows were surprisingly super comfy! We would definitely love to come back and stay here again."

"We had a great stay! Particularly loved the huge and comfy living room with great views of the lake along with a large television, which provided for a fun family movie night! We also had a lot of fun hiking at the Days River Nature Trail, which is just 1.8 miles from the cabin."
