"The beginning of our stay started out great until we ran into some plumbing issues with our room. We were moved to another room but it felt like a down grade not upgrade so we were then moved again. Hindsight I wish we could've been just upgraded instead of being moved twice. We did not receive any discount for our troubles and only were offered a free bicycle rental for a day but all the bikes were checked out when we tried to use it. "It was a nice, quiet central location on the island with easy access to everything via a short bike ride. The villas were very private. Breakfasts were nice but not a huge amount of choice on the menu. Staff very friendly and helpful and were more than happy to upgrade our room when our original room we had booked was not quite what we had hoped for. We really enjoyed our stay here :)"

The expensive room we booked had a view of a construction site and not the view of the ocean and blue waters we were promised. After complaining we were moved to a smaller/cheaper room. No refund was given on the difference but 2 spa vouchers were. The spa was not good would have rather preferred a refund. "We had to pay extra to upgrade but it was worth it... the place is beautiful, surrounded by beautiful view... the service is top notch. Pak rully the manager help us with renting the bike. Everything we need for is by walking distance. Definitely will be back in the future. "

"I was bitten by insects as soon as I entered the place.There was holes in the mosquito net, I voiced my concerns with the staff, who listened but did nothing. At night I was very bitten by mosquitoes. There is very little ventilation as no windows, so the heat builds up, the fan is inadequate to cool you down. The bathroom is outdoors and does not have any privacy. I ended up staying somewhere else, and paying again. The guest book had comments from other customer's voicing the same...

"Très belle et chaude piscine. Agréable petit déjeuner en terrasse. Par contre, initialement, cette villa n'était pas une habitation et cela se voit. Très grande hauteur sous plafond rendant la tâche de la climatisation difficile. L'escalier est très mal fichu. L'eau chaude n'est pas branchée partout. Le wifi ne fonctionne que très difficilement et les abords de la villa sont très sales et c'est un euphémisme !"
