I was attacked near my room. Received damage and trauma to my leg . Ran to elevator to confront the attacker then he ran out to departures area and headed in a run towards the stairs to ground floor. The hotel. manager did nothing other than to go with me to the area of the attack and give me another room..

The Bloc Hotel is literally a block. The bed was squished up against the wall and window. The windows did not open and the air flow was either freezing or roasting. The bathroom was a shower room - so when showering you had to keep all things outside of it or they would be soaked. Sufficient to lay your head at the airport, but I likely won’t be staying at this type of hotel again.

The room is pretty basic. I hate the “wet room” how people can have a shower and then have to walk in and out of a soaking wet bathroom floor beggars belief. Plus the communication between your room and the staff has to be done on WhatsApp. We ran out of toilet roll at 4:00 am,( always had a spare one in all the hotels I’ve ever stayed in) my husband is sleeping and I have to sort out WhatsApp. Didn’t happen, luckily I had lots of packets of Kleenex.
