"Conveniently located on Ocean Drive across from the beach. On the strip and in walking distance from everything. Clean, nice spacious room. Pool was a decent size with a hot tub. The only thing that would make it perfect is improving the free breakfast and a bar would be perfect inside the hotel as an option besides TGI Friday’s below. Oh and don’t ask for more than 1 towel lol. "

"The Gabriel in South Beach was beautiful. The hotel is conveniently located across the street from the beach. We loved the preservation of the original art deco, while still keeping a modern and clean feel. The lobby smelled excellent, clean, and luxurious. We had a wonderful experience with Tim, the hotel manager, who showed us the two pools and stowed our bags before check in. Keith, another staff member, was welcoming and friendly towards our family. Our interactions with all staff were positive. The only two critiques I have are the parking situation and the area around. The hotel offers a pricey valet, and no on-site parking. We had to park in an expensive garage overnight a block away. Additionally, the area around the hotel was noisy, crowded, full of tourists. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay at the Gabriel and we would come again."

"We booked an oceanfront balcony king. Room is in another building facing Ocean Drive. If you like quietness, I recommend switching to a different room as you can hear music from News Cafe (8am - 10pm), cars driving by and people talking when they walk by. But if you like people watching, this is the perfect location. Room itself is clean, bathroom is large (shower only), AC works fine. TV has lots of channels. Nice bedsheets and comforter. Hotel pool and gym are in the main building, so walking back and forth is a bit inconvenient but not too bad. Beach is literally cross the street. News cafe downstairs has delicious food. The Mexican restaurant next door is good too. They, and many other restaurants, are owned by the same group. Overall, good stay, hotel staff is nice, roof-top pool is a nice amenity if you don't like getting sand everywhere, and gym has decent equipment. "
